    Big hello to everyone else

Quick question, I seem to remember seeing an image/ template somewhere for a cakestand. I wanted to make a card and print the outline of the cakestand, and then stamp some cupcakes onto it. Can anyone shed any light. When I google it I just get proper cakestand websites! TIA

I'm having a tea-break so this is the first installment of a catch up - you don't want to know what my living room looks like right now  (it doesn't help when you're trying to declutter and keep finding things and thinking "oooh that would look good on a card")

flourgirl Your challenge card is brilliant. Can I ask where you got the stamp from?

Oh Scatty that's a shame - just remember that there's a nicer one out there for you. I can imagine it would be weird seeing your house on the comp, especially when I look at ones every day dreaming... (I don't think my OH would be able to cycle to his work from your house :))

ali-b I'm probably too late but hope you have a great holiday

giggle your magnolia stamp is gorgeous - soo cute.

Ok tea-time over. The cupboard is calling me...

DTB STOP!!!!! How many do you need as I bought 50 and won't use them all so I could post you some down!!! then it costs nothing!! unless you have already got some of course? PM me if you want some and I WILL go to the post office on monday :D

Flourgirl - you been on my morphine? you probably did say thankyou, I haven't been able to catch up with posts properly too drugged up is my excuse!!

Well the good news is I am crafting ..... I have covered 1 frame in boy paper, 1 in wedding/vintage paper (this one is done apart from the picture being printed) and I just need to make a start on a girly one. These were all supposed to be done for my mums birthday present and were supposed to be wrapped seperately and placed inside her handbag we got for her!! ... oh well she hopefully will love them, just hope she doesn't think I am being insensitive as in the vintage style one I have used a quote off the same paper and added 2 flowers but the picture is actually a black and white one which is of my grandad and grandma (think I was 2 when she died so never remembered her?) and both of them can't be older than in their mid 20's when the picture was taken!!

DTB Bit of a cheek asking you to manage the staff, sounds like your friend is a bit inexperienced, I am sure time will tell who should have got the job.

Rusty Blimey your OH is a good bargain hunter

Flougirl Can't believe you have flowers on your toms already, if mine weren't in pots safely in the greenhouse my OH would have dug them all up as they look like weeds :o

Not had time to come on here this week, been busy working and have started going back to the gym but leaves me no time to craft. OH is at squash so now I have finished planting my veg I am hoping to make some cards, have two male cards and a fathers day card, sitting here trying to think of something to do but my mojo seems to have vanished

Do you mean the cellophane bags that you put finished cards in? If you have a Wilkinsons near you then the sell them in a couple of sizes - DL, Square ones, and one other (1/4 of the side of an A4 sheet of card), think there are 25 in each and they are only £1.00 a pack. Not sure of sites to get them off the internet. ebay may be another option, but don't have any recommendations on sellers.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Hello everyone, hope you don't mind me joining in? Have been reading for quite a while and made a post the other day about stickers (on the board not here)

Anyways, my DS will be 7 next month and I am doing a party for him & his 30 classmates, trying to be as frugal as possible so lots of home made & cheap party bag fillers.

Thanks to Rainmac's advice & links I have ordered my stickers and they are on their way :)

I am making my own invites too. Thing is I know what I want - in my head lol- but can't get it to match :o

The invites will be in the shape of a tag. I will then cover them in an appropriate paper (don't know which colour/pattern etc) then I really want to use my Edwin sitting on a pencil stamp with date/ time etc..

Does this sound too fussy? It will be a Ben10 theme so don't know if I should make the invites with that theme in mind

    Help..........................lol
