Sorry ladies :o, just dashing in to say I've posted the card swap partners for this month... http://craftyplace.yuku.com/sreply/3702/t/April-Card-Swap-Colour-Theme.html

Will catch up with the thread and blogs over the weekend. We're hopefully off to Warwick Castle tomorrow :j. Been for my first trip to The Range today - liked it!!! I bought the MME Penny Lane stack, DCWV Linen Closet stack, floral Papermania pad and a few other essential items :p. Spent rather a lot but had lots of fun ;)

Have a good weekend everyone xxx

Would love to quote you all but I struggle to keep up with who said what sometimes on this thread :o

I found this especially after trying to catch up on 20+ pages of posts a couple of times. I now open a word document and add relevant comments to people on there and then post it when I finish.

    Hi Jowri and welcome.

I've locked the spendy elves up until i decide what i really want. Although i am tempted by the basic grey at every moment matters . I have the odd piece but may go mad and buy a few pads .

I've had my nasty head on today and rung the range to complain about my order for new living room furniture and ended up threatening to report them to trading standards . My daughter was sitting here laughing which didn't help as normally i'm very calm and nothing bothers me but this one broke the camels back grrrrrrr ooops sorry.

  • This is a running visit - sorry. Just want to say, it's so lovely to see this thread back to it's normal spendy self :D. Have a lovely evening everyone - I'm just settling down to a Tikka Masala and a couple of beers. Ooooh - don't I sound a classy bird :rotfl:

I've tried to catch up with the pages and pages on here but blimey it takes so long I'll be off to bed before I get a chance to say anything!
Hi Jo, I was born in Plymouth but unfortunately now live away up in Berwick-Upon-Tweed! Occassionally pop down to visit as I have family down there though.
What I was going to ask is, I bought my first lot of promarkers from AngelCrafts the other day and am very excited with them. But I notice a few of you have mentioned you have coloured in your charts. Which charts and where do I get one? I love the idea of colouring in charts. I was always the one with a coloured in class timetable and coloured study notes with contrast underlining etc :rotfl:
Hope all are well and going to make the most of the weekend. Robbie (my hearing dog) is off for a bath and groom tomorrow. He'll sulk going in and go hyper when I pick him up! He'll be all skinny having lost his winter coat but after the last few days I'm sure he'll appreciate it really.
Hoping to fit in some serious crafting hours over the weekend but I guess I'll wait and see. Plans like that tend to get interrrupted :(
Spendy elves stayed locked up today which makes a change. I've well over spent any pretence of a budget this month already

Big hugs all, have a calm and peaceful night and I'll read you all again tomorrow x:smileyhea

    Evening ladies..:)
I am a bit earlier than usual, catching up..
I have had a busy day, went to BG Payne Crafts in Nelson, someone on here I think put a link to their web site? I can't remember who.. anyway, thank goodness for sat navs :D
I got a couple of things from there, just a few bazil papers.. It is very small inside, more stuff on the website, it does pre warn about that, but I thought I would have a look, infact it wasn't too far from Boundary Mill, it would have been rude not to visit...
After that I visited Dawn Bibby's place and bought a few bits and then went to Carole's crafts at Ossy Mills, and got a few bobs from there ... nothing very spectacular but stuff I felt I needed.. you know how it is.. :p
    Jowri Welcome :)
I haven't made a blog yet.. I started on this around the same time as Tired mom and Crafty ju ju I think, and they have has a blog.. I am really letting the side down.. I am not very tech minded tho..
Rainmac sounds like you had a successful day at the range.. what are your creations going to look like I wonder?
Hope you have a nice day in Warwick tomorrow... I asked in DB's shop about those BG papers and she hadn't heard of them.. it wasn't DB by the way.
Gemm will look at Poppicrafts later, altho I really shouldn't... ;)
Tomsmom Many congrats..:j Hope you have a good week end..
Wifey Sounds like you are going to have a busy weekend... enjoy, can't wait to see your cards...
Melissa Thanks for the link to that place with the papers.. sounds like you have had a small spree but what ever you got sounds lovely.
Have you spent your voucher on C&C yet? I am afraid the promarkers jumped into a basket before I could stop them... they worked out not bad with not having p&p..plus I got 10% off and I was in credit.. etc etc...:)
Peppop I hope you don't get any gales!! What a thoughtless man Grrr!!!
Marg Thanks for explaining how you got the effect on your card.. it is really good..
Craftygranny Hope you get the furniture sorted with The Range.. it can be really annoying things like that..
Tiredmom Hope Erin has a better night , and you too...Those felt flowers are really effective.. I will put those on my to do list deffo..
Ali thanks for the info about those pictures you saw with the hearts and butterflies.. they are added to the to do list.. If anyone wants any butterfly images let me know.. and what colours.. if I have them :D
Thanks for the friday freebie digi link too
