Misread your post padster - thought you'd written that you'd bought beer for DD to keep her quiet  :rotfl::rotfl:some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0

Thankyou Melissa. The purple bit in the corner was an added bit, when I had finished the card that corner looked a bit bare so I just cut a triangle piece of purple and stuck it on the top!!
How clever!!!! It does finish it off nicely!
Choccy - fab "fairy" card - I love the red toadstools.
CT19720 - thanks!0 -
Craftgranny – I have done a choccy and splurted my drink all over the computer (not good) at the though of you looking for dragons. Apparently there is one not far from here – honest but I have never seen it (something to do with a rock formation in a local village).
Hassy – Still not opened it but it is so tempting but I know if it comes out I will not get anywhere near my accounts let alone the cards I need to make for tomorrow.
Scatty Jan – don’t laugh at the spendy elves they will find you believe me. Kate :hello:0 -
I've blogged again (twice in one day!). It's not cards this time though, it's the owl I made last night and some keyrings that I've made over the last couple of weeks. I was thinking I might be able to sell something like these along with my cards at the craft fair I'll be doing in June. What do you think?some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0

He Everyone, welcome to the newbies.. although I am relatively new myself.
DTB hope you are able to get a flight home
JHB Absolutely love your key rings
Would love to quote you all but I struggle to keep up with who said what sometimes on this thread
Does anyone know where my garage keys are? Put them in the drawer they 'belong' OH must have moved them so have spent the best part of an hour looking for them. Rang OH to ask him where he put the keys and he said 'I don't know they can't be far away' arggg men... I don't know how many hours of my life I have lost looking for things he 'puts away'
Bought some ribbons from poppicrafts managed to get the free posting too... But I have been after some new ribbons for a while in my defense
Spendy elves seem to not like me today, after some MME papers and crate papers but everywhere I have tried so far are out of stock. Think I might leave it until Monday when I am off and have a good search then.
Have nearly finished my challenge card, hope to blog it later0 -
I havent got a blog yet - hmmmm maybe thats my project for next week0

The owl is so cute and your key rings are fab. The other thing you could do is attach a clip to them and market them as zip pulls as I think they would be lovely on a child's coat or even on mobile phones.

Good evening everyone!! Just having a quick catchie up while hubby gone to get son from cricket, just a few mentions:
:wave::wave:- newbies.
JHB- love your new blog layout and your little makes are so cute.. I love the little owl on ribbon.
padster - lol
tomsmum - congrats:T:T
Those of you that have the butterfly punch - I know Gemm has one - but spotted a lovely idea that am sure you girls could easily do for a fraction of the price it was in a posh gifte shoppe and it was just six of those butterflies (two rows of three) punched out of patterned paper and stuck on to plain backing paper and then framed it was one of the deep frames and they were charging £20:eek:, but it looked really pretty and they had a similar one with 9 hearts (3 rows of 3) again punched out of diff. patterned paper and framed in an ordinary frame again £20 - could go well at your craft fairs x0 -
ali - what a lovely idea, now that might just be the excuse I need to buy one as it would make a great present for my friends little girl.0
