Hi all, I've been told by someone in the Christmas Crafty thread that this hasn't been mentioned yet, I saw it in the Home Bargains thread and thought it might be useful :)
Today in Longton they had a lovely selection of mini paper puches for making cut out shapes in crafting. Only 39p. I bought a shell, balloon, train and teddy but the others I can remember were swirl, scooter, mouse, helicopter, crescent moon. We have tried these and they seem really good quality. I may go back for the other designs.
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

Well, I've put my early start to good use this morning - I've revamped my blogspot page and have decided to forget about wordpress (I just couldn't get on with it). I finally found a 3 column layout that I liked - I just hope that I can manage to leave comments on blogs now! At least with blogspot it's easier to follow other blogs and for other bloggers to follow me, IYSWIM.

Right back to marking *rolleyes* - it seems like it's never-ending!

Oh, and hello jowri :hello:, welcome to the thread.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
  • Morning lovely ladies!

Hope everyone is ok, I cant believe I dont come on here for a couple of days and it all kicks off.

Jowri - welcome to the thread. As some of the others have mentioned, you probably wont save much money coming on here, but it is certainly the friendliest place to be!

Tired Mum - Hope your little one feels a bit better later, and that you get a bit of a rest.

Marg - thanks for the reminder about the challenge, I will try and do this one if I get a chance.

Everyone else - have a lovely day

Hi! Jo (jowri) welcome to the nicest, friendliest and helpful place there is.

If you're stuck at anytime or need help finding (or buying!!) anything just drop a post in here.

If you need a rant, we listen. If someone has ruffled your feathers then we will smooth them. If you need a hug then we'll send 'em. If you need a laugh I can be relied upon to supply it! :D I am the All England and Essex Cake Diving champion. My motto: See Cake - Dive in. A swimming cozzie for every occasion!

Ditto from me :hello: and to all other new poster - apologies but I'm useless with names - OH nearly had to resort to a name badge when I first met him :o

We specially love to spend everyone else's money.
If you need bears I may just be able to help - although I have had an outbreak of bunnies (thanks Rainmac and Rusty) and fairies recently :rotfl::rotfl:

I'll look after the spendy elves if you want to send them here - I'll put them in the shed at the bottom of the garden that has a padlock and mesh on the windows - hopefully the deaf old coots down there won't hear them banging to be let out and it makes a change from fairies :rotfl::rotfl:

Off to find the plot as it's quite clearly missing.....................

PS DD has just made her own lunch - a scrambled egg toasted sandwich
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Ok my spendy elves may leave now! I have bought too much and not what I wanted. Today alone I bought 4 packs of 175 adhesive gems (from jaynenails), 75 pieces of ribbon from Poppicrafts, 27 digi stamps and 3 cosmo cricket paper packs. I hate adding it all up in the end, but I always promised OH that I'd tell a total price, just not how much stuff we have to find room for, out of mind out of sight lol!

It is amazing how you accumulate a lot in a short time, I did just buy 72 prismacolor pencils of ebay, and really want some nesties, but they can wait, well until next pay day anyway, Oyster Stamps sound very good,
