we are all entitled to our opinions, and I'd be a lousy friend if I didn't defend my own - just like you are all doing :)

I think the point here is that you had to be pointed to this thread by someone else (who chose not to comment) so are obviously not a regular poster (and perhaps not a regular reader of this thread) on here. All these ladies on here who post regularly and those of us who do not post regularly but read regularly are and therefore know the people who post on here very well.

I understand your need to defend your friend (and that is admirable for her) but if you had to be pointed in the direction of this thread then it may just be possible that you have misread what someone posted and blown it out of all context.

At the end of the day I think the point is as you have put it that we are ALL entitled to our own opinions and as therefore the people on here are entitled to defend their friend. Until I read your post today I have never known any nastiness or unkindness on this thread if anything only the opposite this tells me something. perhaps you could have handled this just by notifying your friend about what had been said so that she could have dealt with it in a proper manner rather than you having to resort to a quite harsh post on her behalf.

I have been a regular reader on here and an occasional poster (and I don't believe the number of posts a person has made makes the slightest difference). The posters on here have only showed kindness to me when I have been down and having problems.

thanks for the advice, I am trying to work up the courage to contact the local schools as I am worried that they will think it's odd I dont have a child that goes there yet want to hold a stall :o I know I'm being silly but I worry about stuff like that unless it's been advertised!! glad you liked the images :)

No they won't think that at all, most of the stalls at Jack's Xmas school fair were small businesses such as jewellery, Body Shop, Virgin Vie, florist, handbags, children's toys, cards...

Give me their numbers Gemm and I'll call them for you, I can be your assistant xxx

Thanks craftygranny. I went back and read and re-read the 3M site but couldn't find anything to do with an adjuster for the ATG700. Sorry I can't help there, flourgirl.
