    Finally caught up and wanted to offer my support to Rusty, and hope she returns. When I was brand new to crafting back in January (so still new really!) and didn't know where to start, she was lovely enough to send me a craft starter pack with a little bit of everything in it to get me going. It was a lovely thing to do, and I will never forget it.

    I just put an order into Angel Crafts for a black and white ribbon pack, a few bits of papers and a metal ruler. :)

  • I assume it's okay to comment on here about our purchases from helpful, reliable sites? I'm guessing their 'friends' won't come on here to ask us to stop commenting about them on a public forum? :p

    LMAO!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi everyone, just wanted to say a huge thank you for the links re: colour charts for promarkers, nearly got my 25!! Distressing inks might be my next purchases (cough) if I knew what to do with them:o

    pepop - thank you for the ribbon tying link - that looks like just what I was looking for - in my head that sounds right, but typed out it looks odd - but I hope you know what I mean;)

    On the Joanna Sheene website there is a scoring board is this the sort of thing you girls have - if so is that a good price for it - the elves are hovering!!!

    Haven't commented about goings on and admit to having been hiding for the last couple of days - get enough carp at work - put customer services and council together and wait for explosion - without coming on here to get it as well.

    Anyhoo - congratulations NPS and happy birthday Wannabee.

    Strangely enough I have most of the brown promarkers - I use tan and caramel a lot for bears - have just bought cinnamon but haven't tried it yet :o

    Someone was after MME - have you seen this think Craftygranny might have it unless there's someone else with her name leaving reviews - other than that I get mine from Papermaze check their clearance section

    Hugs to anyone who needs them so relieved things are back to normal here or I was going to disappear - I just can't cope with people who are nasty one mminute and want to be everyone's friend the next :(

    Oohh Gemm that is really expensive - it's really is difficult to sell so much stuff to cover the stall price and make some profit. No point in doing it if you only sell enough to cover the stall price. I really think these Craft Fair prices are sometimes very OTT. If you were selling cards say at £1 each, you'd have to sell 38 before you even thought about making any money!!!

    my sentiments exactly, most of the stuff I'd be selling would be between £1 - £2 so I was prepared to pay perhaps £10-£15 for a table, I nearly died when I read £38! glad I didn't ring her up to ask as I think I would have dropped the phone :rotfl:
