The Wife - I have a couple of snails if you are still in need.
Craftygranny - meant to say earlier, you made me smile twice today (well once was actually a LOL moment) saying about Carly & the postman and then about Princess K and the card, I'm glad that things seem to have turned a corner for you. Hope you've had a fabby day. x
Just played with my nesties - how impressed am I that they come with full instructions on using them in my Bigshot:D One quick question - does everyone use the tan mats they refer to for embossing? I used the following sandwich - tab1, die/paper, sizzix mat, sizzix embossing plate acrylic plate. It has embossed quite nicely, but I wonder if I'd get a crisper finish with the mats or if I'd just be letting those naughty elves out for no reason? TIA0 -

Your reception to a 'first time poster' is absolutely appalling and disgraceful, and I hope some of you are thoroughly ashamed of yourselves. As I said, I am allowed an opinion and I gave mine - whether you like it or not, and whether it is popular or not.
You will have a very long wait if you think I am going to apologise .. and an even longer wait if you think I am going to leave !
I think responses like this aren't going to make you very popular and i'm amazed you want to stick around if you consider so many people to be bullys. Everyone on here is so lovely and very welcoming to newbies but you just got off on the wrong foot...0 -

Lets start our own campaign free stash on the nhs great as stress relief.
I love this, and so much cheaper for the NHS to supply, so more people could receive stash. Its a thumbs up all round!!!
Happy birthday CraftyGranny - I'll vote for you if you fancy standing as an independent! :T:T:T
I loved the news about Carly hearing new sounds, its brilliant to see them hearing things for the first time. I remember crying when I heard my voice for the first time as it didn't sound like me! But I used to be grumpy at crisp packets rustling as I hadn't heard them before and frankly I didn't need to hear them. I hadn't realised they could be so noisy, lol.
I'm sending out huge hugs to all of us who care for others, need cared for (don't we all!) and who generally don't realise just what superwomen we all are :kisses::lovethoug:smileyhea0 -

I haven't commented on this yet but I am actually struggling here with some of what has been said.
You said you did not call Rusty a liar. You did say you doubted the amount of contact that she had supposedly made.
From an online dictionary doubt has the following meanings:
1. To be undecided or skeptical about:
2. To tend to disbelieve; distrust:
3. To regard as unlikely:
So whichever of those meanings you use you are saying you think she probably didn't make the amount of contact she says, in other words you think she's fibbing, telling porkies or lying.
And the meaning of supposedly is given as:
1. Presumed to be true or real without conclusive evidence.
So you need evidence - Rusty did copy part of an email received from Sarah after all this kicked off. That should have proved to you that Rusty was telling the truth from the start. In which case I'm with Thrifty on this, I think you do owe Rusty an apology for "doubting" her when it's been proved that what she said was correct.
You only joined the thread to defend Sarah so I'm not really sure why you would want to hang around when you're receiving so much stick over what you've said.0 -

But Cal you are NOT a first time poster to MSE, you just used a new ID to come & say what you did.
You said you doubted very much that Rusty had tried to make endless contact with Sarah which basically means I don't believe you which boils down to lying about something = what you said.
I really think Sarah & Rusty would sooner this all was forgotten about. Sarah's Cards has had publicity over this. Be that good or bad some business don't care so long as they are being discussed but Rusty as poorly as she is has been humiliated by you as well you know & we'd like her to come back as it does her good to chat on here.
You could have pm'd her on here or UKS & no one would have been any the wiser but you dived in in your size 9's. This could have been resolved behind the scenes as the only damge done up to that point was people considering not buying from Sarah due to poor CS & who can blame them. Now knowing she has such an ace as you up her sleeve ( whether she likes it or not ) I think it's gone way past that.0 -

Because I have a right to reply, they ARE bullies, and I don't let bullies win. On the other hand, I am thick skinned, and I'm waiting to see more loveliness.
By the way, thank you to all the people who have sent me private messages in support. xx0 -

We've gone through all this, and I'm not justifying myself to anyone. End of. A very PUBLIC complaint of poor customer service was made on multiple occasions, and I was justified in replying PUBLICALLY.
This matter has nothing to do with Sarah anymore, but you are all now taking this opportunity to prove your support to Rusty.
Oh, I forgot she's a friend ... and a long time poster ... and its ok for you lot to support a friend, but not for me ! Double standards I think.
And please, check the facts (again) ... this ID has been registered for nearly 3 years. The fact, that I've never had to post before is irrelevant to this discussion.0 -
I came on here all excited to say I have updated my blog with latest makes and now I feel quite glum about it all as it seems we are back at last night again.
Unfortunately Cal first impresssions do seem to last and boy did you make a first impression on this thread. You are now trying to convince us that you are this nice person that should be made to feel welcome but we are not seeing it. We are seeing someone who isn't prepared to apologise, even though Sarah's cards have been on, and continues to call people bullies etc. I'm sorry but from me you will definately be getting :silenced: until you have a long hard think about whether you have misjudged someone unfairly and should really apologise. And before you jump down my throat for misjudging I will happily reasses my position should an apology from you be forthcoming.
On a nicer note I am so pleased to hear all your wonderful news Craftgranny what a superb birthday it will have been.
I am off to bed now as DD has come down with croup and temperature so could be a long night.
