Making cards - Ideas for beginners (part 4)

I had a play with my scor-pal while babysitting at my friend's. I am so pleased I haven't forked out for the extending plates or any dies as it was just so easy to make boxes- I even managed to work out some different sizes. It was literally about 10 minutes for 1 box and I can use up some of the 12 inch paper I'm not that keen on to make them!

I'm desperately trying not to be seduced by 12inch papers as I usually find the patterns to big for cards so I'm focusing on smaller pads (or large paper with small patterns!)

Thank you for all your birthday wishes girls.

I'm up for 2 reasons - it's my birthday and they've hidden all my cards and pressies (I'm assumng I've got some as DD has been meeting the postie at the door all week and disappearing off then DH has been handing me my post later in the day!). Secondly I'm trying to book a room for the NEC in November:D I take it you are all going on the 5/11???

not sure about everyone else but provided I can get the day off I will be going on friday 5th (which is normally the day most other people on here go) will be good to meet you!
