Flying visit as I've promised myself a crafty afternoon seeing as I'm up to date with housework!

Thanks for that NPMama. I always get my Creativity mag from there and had checked on Thursday as I knew it was about time for the new issue. It wasn't on their website then but have ordered it last night and just got an email to say it's been despatched.

I've managed to do a card for mother in law for Mother's Day. I've put it on my blog (link in profile). Not sure if two can be entered for the challenge, but the first one's there anyway.

I've got a really exciting day tomorrow - I'm going to buy a new iron :rotfl: . It's 50 miles to the shops (I want Argos, Home Bargains, Tesco) so a day out. The iron's on special offer so DS reserved it for me this morning, last one in stock, so hopefully they haven't c0cked up and it's there when I turn up in the morning.

I use the bowmaker for all my bows but you do need to see the tutorials on youtube for the Boweasy and then be able to see how the tails end at the back. There's a smashing lady in the US who I buy special bits and pieces from (Justrite stampers, yep! yep! bought loads when I was in Canada) who has the Boweasy (just bought one) get to the point, wifey, let me know if anyone wants the link.

That'll be me please Wifey - I'd love the link to special bits and pieces plus a Boweasy :rotfl:Now will someone please have a word with these spendy-elves - mine are getting a bit out of control ;)

    Hi everyone!
Feel like I've missed out on loads ... started to play catch up but didnt get very far! We are 'almost' all healthy now ... we've all (other than Hubby) had the noroviris (thats me, my 3 year old and 6 month old ... not got!) Our 3 year old has had tonsilitis for the last couple of weeks and there've both had/got chest infections ... it's all go!

I've managed to just upload a few of my recent makes to my blog
I haven't done anymore makes in the last week but am itching to as I got a package from ebay with all mixed bits and pieces someone was selling off.
I'm on a mission this afternoon to order a few single promarkers (I got a stamp free with a magazine I want to try for easter, that reminds me I need to buy a clear stamp block thingy too!)

I was watching create and craft (I think thats what it was) there other morning and that had some powders they used after embossing a stamp ... really loved them, cant remember what they were called, does anyone have any idea??? Think they were mica or something like that? I'm debating about ordering some of them (and not thinking that I would also need a heat gun etc ...)

Tired Mom - your flannel cupcakes are fabulous - love the bright colours - they look very professional wrapped up in the cellophane.

Dawnteabag - of course your sister loved her bunting - it was amazing and such a thoughtful thing to do.

CraftyJuJu - welcome back - glad you found us!!!! Sorry to hear about Emily's fall - thank goodness she was okay!

Dragonflew - gorgeous ribbon makes on your blog. Your bag is fab and I love your card - especially the cheeky monkey image!!!

TomsMum - beautiful mother's day card - love the butterfly!!!!

Saucy - yeah - you've got them - how many did you order????

Lou - I can't believe you've managed to find the time to make something with all the nursing you must be doing!!!! Your cards are lovely - such pretty, subtle colours!!!!

Hi all not had a chance to catch up properly, but just came on to say hello :j

Reading about all the goodies the posty bought you all ... he posted me a red card to say sorry you are not in  (this would be the posty in a van) I am guessing it will be my MS punch OH bought me. The normal walking posty bought me a cheque for 5k :( it is official now :( my G'dad has gone and it has affected me quite badly today!!

Tablets appear to be easing the pain, but I really don't feel right, I feel so light headed and drowsy, I just feel like I am not in my body if that makes sense? will persevere for a few more days and see how I get on, it could just be because I didn't get much sleep last night!!

Need to go as words are dancing across the screen!!

Take care all will try and catch up another time!
