skiergirl - glad to hear you're feeling better
mad-frog - there's another week to run on the challenge; I've put your name on the list and commented on your blog. Your card looks lovely - it must have taken you ages to stamo and fix all those leaves!
wanna-b-rich - I use the padded double-sided tape (not sure if there's another name for it?) for card candy because of the 'dimple' in them. For flat-backed gems, etc. I use glue dots or cut a small pice of DST.
I've had a rubbish day today. I got paid less than a third of what I was expecting and nobody was available in payroll to talk to until Monday (why do they have all day meetings on payday?). I'll have to cancel direct debits over the weekend because there won't be enough in my account to cover them.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Mad-frog - thanks for the info - I was looking at their site happily putting flowers of every colour in my basket - I looked and I had spent a small fortune. I was thinking of ordering one of the selection of roses instead. Your card is gorgeous - I love how you've used the flowers - very inventive!!!
Jailhousebabe - sorry about your rubbish day.0 -

Thanks for this. If someone can point me to the tutorial I would be grateful. I have created a free account on photobucket and got the two photos on there that I want to upload. I cannot work out how to upload them though from there to the forum.
Hopefully I have answered my own question as with some delving around I was able to find the tutorial. If the photos don't appear then no I haven't asnwered my question.
I know this isn't the correct thread but you have all been so nice and welcoming I wanted to show you my first creative thing of recent times and ask for your honest opinions.
These are for the goody bags at my daughter's 4th birthday party. I didn't want to spend much but wanted them to look like I had. The flannels were Wilko's ones as I've seen recommended. I used holographic wrapping paper squirraled away at christmas stuck onto card and then trimmed with the children's scissors, hoepfully these work as muffin cases. I didn't want to use bath pearls due to cost, availability and my daughter being allergic to bath products, I therefore used little chocolate eggs. I also had the cellophane bags leftover from doing reindeer food for the children a couple of christmas' ago. I have done a dozen of these and think they look really sweet, I know my OH will think I've lost the plot!
Sorry photos are huge, now that I don't know how to alter.0 -
