Morning everyone
Many thanks for the kind welcome from you all. I can see by the bits that I've read that this is going to be an expensive hobby!!!
Charlie23 thanks for the link it did work
JailhouseBabe thanks for the advice on promarker colours I can see that there is a very larger range of colours.
I'm off to the Range this morning before I pick up my DD from nursery, I'm not sure if they do the promarkers in there but I'm sure I will find something I like/want/need.0 -
:D:D Thanks very much Lei and Rusty. I just knew someone would know what I was talking about. Such a clever and very knowledgable people on here.
I love the stamp when I saw it on a card on a blog and a card was forming in my head for a friend who is extremely houseproud. Lovely lovely person but manic about cleaning, you feel that you should hover above everything , not step on the floor. My OH is positive she mops the floor after we have left, she even has slippers my size  Bless her! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Hi Rainmac
Thanks for that suggestion, I'll have a go this afternoon and see how many I can do.
Thanks a lot!
Sal
xHi Sal, I would buy 12x12 cardstock if I were you as you can get 4 baskets out of one sheet of card and just need a bit more for the handles. Creative Craft World sells Bazzill Basics cardstock for 40p a sheet so just over 10p over basket? Bazzill card isn't too thick either which makes it great to make these as you have to score it. Hope that helps and good luck with the order x0 -
Ok blog ladies please can I have your help? You know when you enter a competition and it says to put the url to your post, not your blog (to put in the mr linky section) how do you find this? Also some of them say about putting a link or blinkie in your sidebar. I know I'm probably being a thickie but can anyone shed any light on this as there are a couple of comps I would like to enter. TIA x0

Twinkle for entering most competions there is a little Mr Linky program for you to enter your URL. Go to the heading of where your card is, check out the address at the very top of the screen, highlight it all, then press Ctrl & C (copy) go to the Mr Linky and in the area under your name Press Ctrl & V (paste) This will enable the competion people to go to exactly where you comp entry is instead of trawling through all of your blog. For a blinkie, hover over it and right click your mouse, copy the picture and paste it into a folder on your computer.
Please can someone else casrry on for Twinkle, gotta go!!!!! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Great card Paddington, challenge entry noted, I have been recycling a box to put the wee prize in this morning I will post a pic on my blog once its finished
I diddnt expect to be here this week as I had been called for jury duty but got a phone call to say not required phew:T I was a bit worried about it as I have not been before, I hope that they can do without me till my next birthday in July when I become too old to serve:D
Hugs to all who need them especially those who have been bereaved recently. x0 -
Has Wifey your solved your problem Twinkle? I'll be on for a while if you need anymore help.
Does anyone know what kind of service Mad About Cards have and if there's a delivery charge and how long they take to deliver? Sorry for so many questions. I was going to do an order at lunchtime.
I'm finally off to buy my cuttlebug at the weekend - is there anything that is an absolute must have that I should through in my basket while I'm shopping?
Did I tell you future MIL wants me to sell my cards and she wants me to make her some to take into her work. :j0 -

Wow that sounds like my old friend from the midlands ... she has 4 kids and is only 24!! .... she makes me laugh though as she is such a cleaning fanatic!! .... I reckon if your friend has slippers your size she is a true friend .... I would love a friend who greeted me with slippers :rotfl:Slippers only last me a max of 5 weeks, I live in them but being so big they wear through quite quick, also cause I have wide feet this also adds to them wearing!!
I have made 2 cards using my new stash.... pics here on blog!

Hope you all don't mind?
Right off now....must get one.... x
Ooh I also want to do this as I know you all appreciate handmade cards and encourages me to get creative more often! I have a few of your addresses already but if you wouldn't mind letting me know your birthdays and addresses that would be great thank you x0
