PONR when you use the Nesties it will cut the shape. You are then supposed to run it through again (with the tan mat) to emboss it. Instead of this you can emboss it, by using the embossing tool and running it around the edge (saves putting it through twice). You don't need the silicone tan mat to emboss the nesties (like I just mentioned) but you DO need it to emboss stencils.

I've just bought my first one, so I need a mat now.

I'm definately going to buy the sew easy! It makes lovely patterns.

    Morning all!

Rusty Well done on your win :T. Sorry to hear about your OH's friend, hope he can come to terms with it soon and I'm sure he will be there to support him when needed.

Someone needs to look here. Well done :T.

Just off to have a late brekkie. The sun's shining so the washing is in, might get some bulbs planted in the garden today - or shall I remind OH that he has the outside door stripped off ready for painting and covered in polythene to protect it from all the rain we've had lately - insert sarcastic smiley here!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

    Have a lovely day everyone.
  • Thanks Elysia and Tomsmum :j

Rainmac - Missed your message, I mentioned to OH on sunday that I couldn't remember if you had MS or ME, I knew it was one of them!! I hope you don't mind that I used you as having a normal life (normal? lol you are crazy :D) xxx

Well done to the other winner ;)

I am cooking cottage pie, so I can be lazy tonight and chuck it in the oven!! I am so tired so hoping this will help!

  • Hello everyone! Sorry to barge in on your thread and not sure if this is the right place to post.

I have been making my own cards for a while for just very basic ones - sticking embellishments onto cards, etc. I want to get a bit more creative and will be making my own wedding invitations soon as well and was looking to get a machine to help. Would hopefully like to start making invitations for other people if possible too.

Can someone please tell me - what sort of machine would people recommend? I would like to create my own cut outs, etc but would also like to be able to buy a bulk pack of card and then make my own envelopes, etc. Is there a machine or tool that can cut out/mark envelope shapes and pocket invitations, etc??

Thanks in advance and sorry to waffle on but not sure what I am looking for!!!!

    Thanks - Europa xx
