Whoop whoop, well done to all the winners :j :j :j

Ali, good luck with whatever you're doing tomorrow, we'll be thinking of you xxx

Marg, sounds like you bought some fab stuff. I've just ordered a new shape card from Craftwork Cards, this one, thought they look a bit different.

Love that image Tired Mom, I see Craftygranny in a whole new light now...

I had to take DS2 for his pre-school booster jabs today, one in each arm :( he was brilliant, so brave but is how complaining that his arms are sore :( Given him a large dose of Calpol and I hope that will help with the discomfort.

I've made a ginger cake and chocolate chunk cookies this afternoon, my cake has sunk a bit in the middle but smells lush ;) I am going to see a friend tomorrow who has recently moved away - why I've done the baking. She used to live round the corner but has moved over an hour's drive away :(. Going with 2 of my other friends as all our kiddies will be at school/preschool tomorrow so we can have a good girly catch up :) I should have made a new home card but haven't got round to it :o Not quite sure where the weeks are going? Hopefully the cake and cookies will surfice.

Oooooo Ginger cake (dribble dribble) one of my favourites. Its freezing here today, real wintery and a slice of your cake would just go down a treat! Those cards look nice, I have a file for cutting those on the Silhouette, I might have a go one day.

Has anyone lost there background on blogger? Don't quite know whats happening over there just now, sometimes its working sometimes not!! Can't seem to get on Crafty Place either.

Sorry - another quick post from me - should be getting ready to go out for a meal with the 'girls' - think I'm the youngest so it's a while since we were girls:rotfl:

Rusty - so sorry I forgot to say how sorry I was that you were suffering after the dentist, hope by the time you read this you are feelin' a lot better. Hope all is now ready for the birthday boy tomorrow.

ali.b - Hope you get on fine tomorrow. x

Rainmac - if you brought me lovely cake & cookies don't think I'd notice there was no card.:) Didn't notice that new shape on Sat but I am a bit dormant......& was in a rush.

Wifey - sentiments were oval silver, round gold & silver, and some lovely mixed shapes gold & silver. They had a few other colours but the red was a bit pink for my taste & you'd probably have to use their matching card. They do oval gold too just didn't have any there. I'll try & take pics for you 2morrow. Wouldn't care but I don't really 'do' Christmas that much!!! Thought they'd make good swaps though.

Yes we're going in October, I'm a bit concerned though, as I've noticed the new Michaels vouchers are usually put on the website sometime during Friday, at which point we will be travelling! so I'll need to find somewhere to print out vouchers when we arrive, any ideas whether the hotel will let me print a few pages out?

Most hotels have a business centre and should have printers there although it's likely they will charge for it. I'm sure New York New York had a centre there.

Have you signed up to Michaels newsletter as they usually email a link to vouchers a week before so you might find that quicker. Joann's don't email many vouchers but they usually have a leaflet in the store a few weeks before. Next week they have a coupon bonanza with loads of different coupons. You can usually only use one voucher per visit but I have found my local one will accept a Michael's voucher in addition to the Joann one as they key it in manually. Make sure you sign up for Joann's newsletter also.

I have an online order from Joann's arriving today!!!! They have different offers on the website.

PONR Congrats on being the new owner of a Bug!! Is it not torture having all that lovely new stash and not being able to play?

Thank you!!! My bug will arrive in a couple of weeks and I will deffo be having a play with it as I have some embossing folders arriving today that I ordered online!!!! Yes - sometimes I want to make a card with my new stuff but I will save it till I get home. I do test out all of the punches that I buy though and must say that the EK cupcake on is fab!! I have to stop buying now as I think I have enough to fill up my luggage allowance!!!

  • Ali - Hope tomorrow goes ok for you.

Rainmac - I love that shape of card and can't wait to see what you do with it. It reminds me of the nestie labels shape.

I've caught up on all todays posts but have had a bad headache all day, and can't think properly at mo, so I'll just say well done to Winners and guest DT's.

I'll be thinking of you Ali.

PONR - I hope your parcel arrives safely. I'm sorry you have to stop spending, I've been looking forward to seeing what you've bought each day.

    Take care everyone. xxx
