    morning
well done on your weight loss Louby
I'm not going to any craft shows if I can help it due to the amount of money that I spend when I go (around £100!)

  • Congrats to our latest winner.

Flourgirl - I love that kitchen board what a super present.

PepPop - Fingers crossed something comes along for your OH very soon.

Louby - Wow what a weightlosee, well done you and have a super time as aquasana.

I had a lovely day yesterday and was given money by all my in-laws so I can now get a bigshot and will also be looking at nesties. I shall be back with questions I know as to what I need to order.

Went to tecniques class last night and spent 3 1/2 hours playing with Tim Holtz stamps, what fun but gosh I had mucky fingers.

Hahahaha - you really have to rummage around the clearance sections sometimes ([STRIKE]all the time[/STRIKE]!) - Joann's clearance is cheaper I find! I'm off there today for a look as not sure if you know but they accept Michaels vouchers and vice versa!!! Joann's have less restrictions on what you can buy with the vouchers though!!! When is it you are going to Vegas - is it October??

Yes we're going in October, I'm a bit concerned though, as I've noticed the new Michaels vouchers are usually put on the website sometime during Friday, at which point we will be travelling! so I'll need to find somewhere to print out vouchers when we arrive, any ideas whether the hotel will let me print a few pages out?

Tired Mum - Love the pic! Looks like a cross between The Stig & Darth Vader!

Ali.B Thanks for the advice, we didn't get to Harrogate 'til late so although it was quiet(ish) I felt cheated when they kicked me out at half past four! I would have liked to go back the following day but we had other stuff to do.

I've just been looking at my stash haul from Harrogate. Mmmmmmm :o What was I thinking?

I got some scalloped cards and some Christmas sentiments from Craftwork cards. A nestie diamond set, some silver doilies (the gold looked a funny colour so I put them back & got hearts instead) from the stall near the door to the terrace? Any suggestions? I got a couple of Christmas stamps & some die cuts from LOTV. {They are doing them in little packs (4 images, all the same size) now instead of on a sheet.} A stamp from Little Claire and a Marianne butterfly from someone else. I was very good (or silly) & put back the MS around the page pansy punches.

In case anyone has the rounded Marianne butterfly the man selling them gave me a good idea even though I didn't buy that one! If you die cut it, then carefully trim the bottom set of wings off what is left looks like a Mardi Gras mask. IYSWIM You can then put the bits you've cut off at the top to make it look more fancy. I can imagine it would be brilliant if you added some bling & feathers. HTH someone.

Think I'd better join the stash ban don't you?

  • I must admit to being a little scared about going to Ally Pally as Barbara Grey will be there and my resistance gets very low when i see her stamps, it was six last time  . I'm hoping to get some halloween papers and Christmas sentiments from Craftworks, what are yours like Marg? Are they coloured or silver and gold?
