Birthday Wishes to our Birthday Girlies. Hope you have a super day & enjoy yourselves.

KMS my DD started SW or is it WW? (she does the red/green day thing) with a friend who went a few meetings then jacked it in. DD however was loosing a few lbs each week & getting to grips with the menus & has 2lb to go to her 1st stone. She now goes alone, the group leader knows shes alone so sits another loner next to her & invites newbies to group in with others so everyone feels welcome on the outside ( even if inside they are a bag of nerves )
Hunny stick with it please. MY DD could never be rushed into making the step to start SW but she looks forward to going now, alone, even if she maintains she knows she can sort it out & 'catch up a lb or 2 elsewhere.

CT when you make the Kitchen Boards you might find you can only use 1/2 of a stickit pad it depends on the balance lol you really need it to hang straight on the wall:rotfl:

Thanks flourgirl - i'm going to try one later in the week. Do you just use DST to attach the calendar tab, and shopping list or something stronger, as I don't want them to come off when I make it up.

Thinking of adding some magnetic stip to the back as well as the ribbon, incase like my mum doesn't have any where to hang it, so thought she could put it on the upright freezer.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Dragonllew I love your accordian card folder it is gorgeous, can I ask what kind of magnets you used on it please, and you say you made it slightly bigger than the tutorial stated, so what size cards were you putting into it.
    xx

Thanks the magnets I cut from a sheet of sticky back magnet with my nesties think I got the magnet sheet in hobbycraft. I put my normal square cards in think they are 13cm? They are the Anita's ones, I think the instructions would fit a C6 card. I should have written down the sizes but didn't think about it at the time if you need any help just shout.

:jHappy Birthday :jTired Mum & twinklestar I'm sorry I forgot to send cards but will get some in the post to you.

Rusty HS14tbmli.pngBetween your abcess and the dentist you need the biggest ones I could find. OUCH!

Wifey :rotfl::rotfl: Please don't splat I'd miss your comments :)

    Soma How's your OH doing?

I really must print off the new version of the birthday list (sorry guys:o). OH is still applying for jobs but phoned about benefits today to keep us going in the meantime. I think he's applied for about 30 jobs in the last 2 days. Fingers crossed he'll get something soon. Crafting for me tonight as there's more football on tv :j. Catch you all later.

I'll go what ever day you can get down, Rainmac

My next door neighbour makes cards and she wants to come with me, I think we are going to do the Saturday, is that ok with you, will be fab to meet you :j

Rusty, that sounds grim, please do keep up with the painkillers. £70 is fab, I'm going to have a sort through some of the stamps I don't really use and do the same I think. Blogger is being a pain for me, will get onto yours and everyone elses blogs when it lets me, I can get onto mine and my dashboard but it is saying I don't follow any blogs

Had a text from Melissa75 today, she is settling into the new house and is loving the extra space, hasn't bought any craft stash for age because they haven't sorted out an internet connection yet. She said she will be back asap and is missing everyone.
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

I have extra strong DST in my ATG gun its brilliant for boxes and the notepad thingies. I have used magnetic strip on the backs too, I pinched a bit from a plastic peg clip I bought from £land.
  • Happy birthday twinklestar and tired mum xxxx
