  • Wow - thanks ladies - CT19720, Padster, craftygranny,PepPop, dragonllew and dawnteabag. You have managed to answer all of my questions!!!! Sounds like it is a popular thing to own so I think I deffo need one!! Thanks for the tip about the Provocraft alphabets, will take a look. I did think about buying it here but don't think I will have enough room to carry it so will but it in the UK on my return.

Just a thought if you are gonna get one check out the price of B plates as they're about £6 here and as I use one scabby B plate all the time it only lasts me about 6 months ;)

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger
  • Just had a look at the magic wallets could you use them for gift vouchers for xmas maybe?
I'll get back in me box with me blanket :rotfl:

Had a rubbish day finally arrived at work at 10 as there was an accident at the end of the motorway - not bad only took me an extra hour
Worst bit was someone only thought to ring me at 5 to 9 when I was already stuck in the traffic rather than when it happened and now I have to make the time up. Got to work had been evicted from my desk 1 machine wouldn't log on and another one had no mouse so took another 20 mins to sort out before I could start I was not a very happy bunny :rotfl::rotfl:

Indeed I am - wasn't so bad when I got home - treated myself to a trip to the library - is that sad :rotfl: - have been taking DD so I have an excuse to look in the childrens library without looking like a weirdo :p plus I can use her ticket and don't get charged if they're late back :D

  • Hi All,

I'm a newbie here but would love to join in if you'd let me.

I've been making cards on and off since I was 15. My little girl has just started school so I thought I would start up a blog and enter my creations in a few contests. I've started to follow most of the blogs from this thread - thre are some beautiful cards that you have made.

I've read this thread back a bit but don't think I'll manage all 700 pages!

kms26 regarding card - I usually buy card from Crafters Companion - nice quality and weight for cards and boxes. I've bought from my garden centre before which has a selection of cards you can fill a box with for a fiver. Not the best quality altogether though. I'm going to try Joanna Sheen next as she does free delivery and the card there looks good.

Anyway look forward to talking with you all.

Hi Karen welcome to the thread
  • PONR I am another one who loves my bug! I bought quite a few nesties to use in it when I was over in the states as they worked out alot cheaper over there & they are nice & light to carry home.
Congratulations on your win kms x
