I'm going to a Christmas card making event, and have asked to hold a small raffle there to see if I can raise anything. I have a couple of sealed stamps that aren't my thing that I was going to put in, but anything else would be awesome!

Can someone tell me how to win an argument with an almost five year old . Kaitlyn has just stolen the fab card from dragonllew and when i said thats mine she replied but i gave you a sparkly card to make my friends birthday card. Exactly her blank for her friend but she's having none of it. Apparently the pink ribbon is hers too just because it's pink. Now i'm resorting to cruelty i've hidden the rest lol.

She's had a fab first day at school and has been bouncing off the walls since we picked her up. She called to see her mum after school and tell her about her day. Apparently she had lunch in the cafe and had tuna sandwiches and ate the lot. you guessed it she won't eat tuna at home. typical. Her uncle danny just bought her a Mcdonalds for being a big girl. oh to be four again .

Went out for some Chinese food last night, had some nice food and brought the extra's back to eat today!!!!

It's Labour Day today so a Bank Holiday so hoping to pop to Michaels with my special 50% off voucher and then to a huge 350 acre park.
Hope everyone's kids got off to school ok today with no tears or problems!

Glad she had a good day - my DD eats stuff out of the house but won't touch it at home - she always has scrambled egg at Grandma's but won't go near it here.

You don't win with them at any age - you just hide it all before they get chance to pinch it and then sneak it out when they're out the house

craftygranny - you cant win!!! Distraction I find is the best method - but then I've not got girls wanting to nick my crafty stuff.
rainmac - Hmm how bad was the film the first time round:D. Glad you have done your sort out was thinking of something similar.

Ladies, I have 3 promarkers that are doubled up Lilac, Caramel & Moss but I was wondering if I could swap them for some stamped images - i.e. say 1 for some of the Miss Anya - with the shopping bags. 1 for some Magnolia Images and 1 for some House Mouse. Ignore this if you think it is a bit cheeky and will go and hide behind the sofa! Gulp:o

Awww it's difficult isn't it. It will be interesting to know if she has asked her dad the same questions and if he replies with the same answers as you.
