Last day of freedom for DD today :j She'll be glad to go back. OH went off in a right snit this morning mainly coz I moaned that he left his jacket hanging on the back of my crafting chair for the cat to rub herself all over - he slammed the door drove off at xxx miles an hour and refused to wave - serves him right if I put it on the bed so she can sleep on it :rotfl::rotfl:
Not sure what we're going to do today but DD had better stop asking questions - this mornings so far has been why did I have 2 children????? others this weekend have been why did me and her dad split up, where did her dad meet her step mum, did her dad leave me or did I leave him, why did we leave him the house. All nasty painful ones that I really don't want to think about which probably didn't help with my attitude to OH this morning
Anyhoo sun is out washing is in and house is tidy coz I always tidy up when uptight plus I ironed 13 shirts yesterday so don't even have much ironing left :A Will try and feel more chilled before I come back later
aww poor padster, sorry I can't really offer any advice but sending hugs your way in any case xx0 -
morning
paddy they sound like really difficult questions, big hugs answering them (if you want to answer them)
well done to Rainmac!0 -
Aww padster hope your day gets better. My grandson was asking me the same kind of questions last week about his mum and dad.
Well Princess k's first day at school today she was really looking forward to it and burst into tears when she got there. Strangely quiet here and no kids programmes on the tv.
hope everyone has a good day.

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Morning girls, my middle son started school today. Only me and baby (two and a half!) at home now. Got a busy day posting parcels and houseworking, etc.
Rainmac congratulations on your win.
Jazabelle I'll send you a raffle prize with your order.
Craftygranny Could I be cheeky and ask for a couple of beermats, please? I'd like to give them a go for the school Christmas Fair.
Bye for now,

Had a busy weekend, went to a wedding on Friday night which was a real good laugh, then Saturday was out with friends although wasn't drinking much as I was a bit delicate from Friday. Then last night we had a concert in the park with a firework display at the end which was lovely. Off to work in a minute just finishing a card for my niece on her first day at school tomorrow.
Have tried to catch up on bl*gs but it doesn't seem to let me sign in so will try again tomorrow0 -
Dragonllew Has your Creativity mag arrived yet from Cutting Edge Crafts? I had my despatch email on Friday, same as you, and normally their stuff arrives next day. Postman has been but not received it yet.
Sorry, not ignoring everyone else, will be back later, in a bit of a rush at the moment.0 -

Hello Padster - hope you are feeling a bit better by now - (((hugs))) for all those really tough questions.:( Suppose it's a measure of DD growing up that she wants to know what she's just taken for granted before - doesn't make it any easier for you though. You aren't alone dispersing stress into housework - if you run out there's some more here.:)
Hello Furry! Sorry can't help with your questions - too far South for me.0 -
Hi all,
I haven'y had my mag yet either. Hopefully tomorrow:cool:
Congrats to the latest winner :j
Welcome back Rusty
paddingtondoo - I don't know how your kids are but i have always found with mine that if i tell them the truth in the softest way possible they are satisfied and leave it at that. I recently had the what is oral sex question the other day  Now that i could have done with some advice :rotfl:
I hope you are feeling better now, it is horrible arguing first thing isn't it?
I have updated my you know what with an entry for Fifi's challenge, if anyone would like a nosey. Also have a look at Jack's Iggle Piggle cake i made, i am quite proud of that
