Sorry I've been awol for a couple of days, been feeling BLEUGH since Wednesday and haven't turned the laptop on since then.

    Congratulations WBR

:wave:Sally Glad to hear you're getting things sorted with your lawyer

KMS A BIG THANKYOU for all the goodies that arrived on my doorstep at the weekend, I can't wait to get playing with them. I remember being allowed to sit on the benches in Primary school, ooh I felt so grown up :rotfl: those were the days!

    I'll catch up more later

Whoopie it's me :D thanks for the heads up. I'm supposed to be ironing but I'm struggling to stay focused - can't imagine why!

Padster - I know it's painful, but I've found the best way of dealing with the awkward questions is to answer as honestly as you can bear. DD went through a stage of asking about DH's ex-wife and her step sisters. I also have had DSD's when they were little asking me about why their mum and my DH don't like each other and some other lovely questions that I'd rather have avoided. Once I'd answered them the questions stopped and we didn't revisit them. Hope your day gets better. x

I'd better get back to things, otherwise I won't be allowed out play at the weekend!

Was hoping for the craft magazine today as well, but it hasn't, so fingers crossed for us all that it comes tomorrow - does anyone know what the free embossing folder is?

Padster - hope the questions have stopped for you and that you have found a way to answer your DD questions. It is always hard to pitch how much information to give, and have to revisit the past. Hugs to you.

Congratulations WBR - you are on a roll at the moment, so well done your card as always is gorgeous.

PepPop - sorry you have been feeling rough. I'll put the ribbon in the post to you tomorrow, to cheer you up.

TiredMom - hope you have had a great day with your DD at the Zoo today.

Craftygranny - Hope Princess K has had a fabulous first day at school.

    Hi Furry, and Sally.

Feeling a bit sorry for my self today, as I have had a cold for a few days, that has left me with a hacking cough, and have today woken up with the beginnings of cystitus .

Come home early from work, so will snuggle up on the sofa and go blog hopping.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

  • omg went shopping without princess k and everyone behind the checkouts was asking where she was. Very strange not having her in tow and telling me how much she needed everything she saw.

Dragonllew thank you so much the postie has just been. What fab goodies. I've left them for her ladyship to see and i bet she steals the card. lol.

:j:j My ribbons prize came today:j:j:j and they are lush, The Wife hope you get yours at work on wed. if you want a "do not touch" preview I have posted pics on you know where.

Padster sorry you are getting upsetting questions, as a one time asker of such questions be as simple and honest as possible. I spent the first 8 years of my life thinking my Dad "died in the war" it was a terrible shock when my Mum told me he had left and that she was now divorcing him so she could then marry my step dad.

Hope you are all enjoying the first non children days and are managing to get back to crafting.

Hugs to the poorlies and :T:T to our latest winners
