Hope everyone is ok - I'm typing this as I am catching up!!! Very hot out here.
My foot is worse than ever and causing me alot of pain. Will need to get it sorted when I get back to the UK.

Congrats to flourgirl, Gemm, The-Wife and Rainmac on your wins!
jowri - hope your OH got on well at the hospital. My auntie had a scan last week and this week the consultant told her it was clear and she doesn't need anymore treatment and can see him in 3 months. We are so pleased as she has been through so much - a good result means it has all been worthwhile.
fifi - hope your shoulder feels better soon.
Flourgirl - how lovely to receive a load of goodies, nice of that person to give you lots of bits that she no longer needs, just what we all dream of!!!

I was quite lucky yesterday when I went shopping, Marshalls which is a TK Maxx type of store had a few bits of Martha Stewart in old packaging, I managed to get some embossing powders in packs of 3 for $4 - these are $9 in Michaels and I got a cupcake punch for $3 this is $13 in Michaels. I then bought 15 door hangers in Michaels ready to bring back and decorate.

Evening all, hope you've all had a fab day. We popped to my favourite little warehouse today and I actually left with no new additions to my stash - DH thinks I'm ill (not sure when to tell him that I'm probably going to the Craft Barn next weekend and am thinking of doing a class that will no doubt lead to more stash)!!

Gemm - I've had a few requests as to how to do the reflections, so I'm going to do a tutorial. If you want/need to know now I'll send you a PM as it's fairly easy but maybe a bit longwinded to put in post on here.

The-Wife - well done on your win

Ali.B - I made the card. If you need anymore of those stamped let me know and I'll do it.

Flourgirl - what a fantastic bundle of goodies!!

    Glittermum - lovely card

ScattyJan - I haven't forgotton your prize, it will be in the post to you next week, hope that's OK?

ooh thanks, I'm in no rush so a blog tutorial would be great :) X

ponr I am loving hearing about all your crafty shopping over there! can't WAIT till we go now! was a bit disappointed to hear about Walmart though as when we were in Washington last year I got quite a few crafty bits from there, what a shame if they have ditched most of it!

I just typed a reply and lost it!!!!!!

If you go to a bigger Walmart it might be better - my local used to stock more cardmaking stuff and lots of MS but now no MS and not much else for cardmaking.

I was pleased with the embossing powders though - I bought 3 sets to use with my bargain boot sale heat gun that I got for £1.50!!!! The cupcake punch is cute also. Cuts it in 2 pices so I can mix and match papers with it.

Make sure you look in Marshalls and Ross also as they often have design paper pads cheap!

thanks, have just looked up on google and there is a Marshalls and Ross in Vegas so have added those to my Vegas address list ;) There is a Walmart Supercentre closeby so fingers crossed they might have some good stuff in then. At this rate I'll be blowing my entire spending money on stash :rotfl: not that I'd mind :D

Had a chance to make a couple of cards tonight, so they are now in the usual place.

Fifi Folle - there is one on there that fits with your black and white challenge, so can I be added to your list please.

Hope everyone has had a good day, will catch up properly tomorrow

    xx

Wifey have you received your crafty ribbon bev bag yet? just noticed that one person has not claimed yet and I got paranoid and thought maybe my e-mail (which has been a bit iffy lately) had gone astray. More likely I am just toooo eager to get my hands on new stash x
