Congrats to another winner!!!! Lovely card!

Is anyone around that can help with my earlier sizzix texture boutique questions please????

I am looking at Joann online and they have some lovely embossing folders in the sale for the cuttlebug and I am hoping you can use them on the texture boutique embosser!

I've seen one on sale with a Crafts Too embossing folder so it must be compatible with other embossing folders?

Sorry PONR. I have the cuttlebug so can't help with contents. Instead of buying the boutique - I bought a magazine recently and they were giving you the boutique free for buying a subscription - would that work out better? I'll see if I can find which mag it was.

Hiya - Thanks - I did see that, but I think the price of the subscription was alot more than the cost of the sizzix and it wouldn't be worth it for me as I buy magazines then flip through but never read properly!

  • Lizalloreds - Look here, I think this might be the candle card you were looking for. x
  • Just a flying visit, my date with the inks has been cancelled. DS has decided that he doesn't want to go to school tomorrow and we've had tears at bedtime - he's just zonked out now!

Padster - thanks for the heads up

Marg just had an email from blogger re a comment you made, confused moi - never (I didn't have a clue what you were talking about and thought maybe you'd commented by accident LOL!! I think Padster's post has cleared things up for me though. xx

Rainmac - enjoy your day tommorrow

PONR - the texture boutique will take most standard sized embossing folders, but it won't take the Sizzix Texturz Plates. It gives a lovely crisp finish. I've been borrowing my friends, who keeps telling me I NEED one!

I'm off to bed as I'm shattered - must have been all excitement today! So nite nite. x

Thanks for that - so the cuttlebug A2 ones should be fine then. That's good as there are loads reduced to about £2.75 each which seems well cheap to me! I can feel a little online shop about to happen!!!:j

So Sorry! I'm confused ALL the time lately!

What I meant to say was I thought your sewing kit was ACE and I'd only seen it because Padster posted that you'd won - think it's time I went to bed too!

hello again everyone - can't belieeve the holidays are almost over.
Guess what - ~I made a card and have taken a phot of it - don;t think that has happened for months. It's on my facebook page. Better dash - it's "&sons" birthday tomorrow and I've left everything a bit late -he's back to school tomorrow oo so I promised him a treat day out today. We went to Cleethorpes and it really wasn't as bad as I was expecting - 4 hours n the beach, chips and curry sauce for tea followed by fresh donuts.
I've bought him a wii fit and I'm going to set it up before I go to bed rather than wrapping it up so he can have a quick go in the morning before he goes to school. Wish me luck - I'm rubbish at that kind of thing!

No need to apologise - it was entirely me! LOL. I'm terrible at keeping up with challenges I've entered lately, so appreciate any form of heads up. x

    Morning all

Up really early today. It is DD's first day at high school! She was up at 6.30am, in the shower and getting ready. Why do girls take so much longer than boys to get ready! Finished off all the labelling last night.

PONR - Sounds like you are having a good time

Wanna-be - I know how you feel about school. It really strange that DD is now going to be at high school!

Rainmac - I know exactly what you mean, its been great having them on school holidays, but its great they are going back too!

Fifi - glad your shoulder is feeling better

Hope everyone has a good day. Hugs to all. xx
