Hi all,
Having a crazy day today! Kids went to back to school my DD is in her last year of primary school, so was most excited to get to school for assembly as she now gets to sit on benches instead of the floorDS1 was sauntering along until he saw his girlfriend and then practically ran the rest of the way to catch up with her :rotfl:
Afterwards Jack (DS2) and me went to the doctors as i had to have a blood testas they think my thyroid is under active, the nurse had to do it in both arms as she couldn't get any out of the first all in all made 5 holes in my arms  so i now look like i am a druggie!!!! lol :rotfl: And they really hurt! And to top it all off it was a fasting blood test too so i couldn't even have a cup of tea this morning
I had to come straight home after that as i spent £112 in Toys R Us last night as it is Jacks birthday on Saturday, there are too many toys for a 2 year old!!Thought i had better give my debit card a rest!
Izzy - your cards are lovely, well done!!
Artydoll - I'm glad you liked it all, i can't wait to see what you make.
Gemm - Thank you so much my butterflys came this afternoon.
Anyway enough of my waffling must get ready to go get the kids from school
Bye for now xx0 -
I wish I had never found this thread:rotfl::rotfl:
Every time the doorbell rings it is another parcel of goodies:D DH is on holiday this week and I think there are a few more parcels due probably when I am at work as well:eek: Ordered loads from Donna's Den. Ordred Prima flowers from somewhere else and of course a few more Promarkers
All this shopping and I still have only made two cards. I have to stop myself;)0 -
Izzy - I have been on your blog and commented on your cards. Well done, you are doing well. My favourite is the Tilda one. The heart backing paper is great.
Irlrip - I know exactly what you mean. I have spent more money since being on this thread than I ever did. I thought it was suppose to be MSE!!!
Maybe we need to go on a stash ban too!
Craftygranny - hope your cough improves soon.
Before I consider a stash ban, I have been having a look at a craft robo. Theres one on ebay which is collect only that is really local to me. Its a CC200. Is this an old one? Does anyone know what the advantages to having a newer model are? Gemma, what model of robo do you have? I noticed your flower card (which is gorgeous by the way) was made on a craft robo. Can you also do embossing with it? Alot of questions I know, but before I buy one, I thought I needed to know if it was worth it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. xxMay - £251.63/£155, June - £108.69/£150, July - £157.45/£155, Aug - £104.28/£155

well done to our latest winner!!
glad everyone received their butterflies ok, if anyone wants more just holler!
Addams - My robo is the CC330-20, I'm not sure what the difference is? I used it loads at first but the novelty has now worn off and I use it as an when the need arises! it is great for when you need something unusual, for instance recently I was asked to make a card for a landcape gardener! lol, so I used it to cut out wellies, tools, watering can, etc! you can't emboss with it but it's great for cutting as you never need to buy a die again, just download cutting files.
ETA - forgot to say yesterday, thanks to Wifey for my atc sleeves and blanks0
