Hi ladies, I'm back from hols :(

I've just going to catch up with posts from the past couple of days as there's no way I can catch up on the past 2 weeks  If I've missed anything major would someone be so kind as to pm me - thank you.

I had a lovely relaxing holiday but have come back to a critically ill aunt, a massive family rift, and my dad having angina attacks because he is piggy in the middle (he had a massive heart attack a few years ago and was lucky to survive that, so I'm really worried this may give him another). And if thats not enough, one of my best friends has just announced shes getting married in 2 weeks... and can I help her arrange the wedding

Sort of sounds like you need another holiday, so glad you had a brilliant time, hope you can help calm things down between your family and soothe your dad xxx
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain
  • Rusty - massive ((((hugs)))). You know where we all are when you need us.

Giggle - great news about your sales

    Go Dragonllew :T

Skiergirl - sounds like you'll need your holiday

Well I wrote my first complaint to social and disability services today and we have a journalist at the local paper ready to cover our story - we'll see if that brings us any joy.

Ironing this afternoon - boooooo :rotfl:

    See you later, Thriftyxxx

    Hello all :j

Rusty - sorry to hear your sad news...............big hugs (((:o))))
I did a box of cards for MIL for mothers day and she loved it..........she's housebound and can't get out herself so I did her a box of allsorts........some birthday, some thankyou and some blank so she can use them for what she likes. I made a little card wallet as well and put some stamps in and covered a pen with paper. I'd covered an old notelet box I'd had so that dictated how many I could fit in.........worked out about 18 I think.

Hope everyone who's been under the weather is getting better
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Quick question - has anyone used Tim Holtz distress inks?
I'm thinking of buying a couple with my blog win spends, but am not sure which colours would be most useful. Also, do you need to use any special tools/sponges/etc. to apply them?
