What's the difference between copics and promarkers?

copic ciao markers have a brush end which makes it easier for blending
promarkers have a fine tip end which is easier for colouring in small details without going over edges

I would try both and see which you prefer
I have copics and a few on here have promarkers.

Crafty granny fingers crossed for your son

    Hi all.
Just got back from chessington. Great day, this morning was dry, but this afternoon it rain, so we are all a bit wet.

My stash arrived while I was out, and OH was here and said, so how much did all that lot cost then! At least I could tell him it was only £20 for all I brought. Thanks PONR for the link for Crafty Devils. I ordered last thursday, so arrived reasonably quickly.

Off to have a play with my stash now, see what I've got and get some ideas!

    Hugs to all. xx

Been at work most of today, so no crafting for me.

Craftygranny – sorry to hear about your son. I know how worried you must be, but at least they know what the problem is and will be able to fix it quickly. Hugs to you and your family.

Glad you managed to get the cheap cards Dragonllew.

Hugs to everyone that is feeling under the weather too. Hope you feel better soon.

Not sure if anyone else has seen these, but I popped into The Works today and noticed these Art Stickers for 59p a pack. I opened one in the shop and it turned out that they are exactly the same flat backed gems I use in the middle of punched out flowers. Some are tiny, but there are a fair few that are fairly big, and I thought that they would be perfect for using a bling on cards, instead of paying about £3.00 for the proper Papermania ones. I bought pink and purple, as that is what I use a lot of, but they had a few other colours too, and for 59p I think they are an absolute bargain. You just need to add a bit of glue to the back to stick them to card, as when you pick them off the clear sticker sheet the glue stays on the sheet. Thought this may help someone who is after a bit of cheap bling for their cards or looking to build up their stash.

Not around much after tomorrow as we are taking the boys up to Alton Towers, and stopping to visit Warwick Castle and Ironbridge on the way up.

Have great holidays Rusty and PONR – safe travels to you both.

Good god, I'm awful at colouring. My blending looks rubbish and I keep going over the lines. :/

Jazabelle - If you use the special coated papers, you just colour up to the line, and on other papers, colour not quite to the edge and the colour will bleed up to it.

Rusty - I always use satin for skin too. Ivory is too pale. I use the blush for cheeks.

Oops forgot to add: Thanks CT for the tip. I'll look out for those gems when I next go.
