Lei - not sure if this helps but I've done little SOS boxes for my two sons (well grown up but still might find them useful)
I've filled them with things they might run out of -batteries, elastoplast, spare toothbrush/toothpaste, drawing pins, blutac, sachet of shampoo, rennies, paracetamol,-bits like that.

Going through some books today that I'd got from charity shop and inside one were 6 little sheets of handmade paper, sort of oatmeal colour. How do I stick that on to card ? Never used it before and don't want to wreck it.

I would use dst I think Mary, glue may soak in the paper?

ha ha my oh doesn't dare complain about dusting anymore . Last time i told him him and the twins could do all the ironing every day and i'll flick the duster round every day. Lasted one day..lol apparantly ironing is even more depressing and boring than dusting. Now one of them fills and empties the dishwasher , one dusts and the other hoovers every day. sorted .Managed 3 months with no more complaints so far.

Thought i was feeling better and woke up today even worse.. I feel all fluey and shivery and achy. Just hope it's a cold and not the dreaded cellulitus coming back. Took me 6 months to get rid of it last year. Really must finish dragonllews atc today. I have a pile of packages waiting to be posted .

I love your story :rotfl: So sorry you are feeling carp, try and get some rest if you can xxx

Hi Ladies feeling a bit down today which is so not me but found out at lunchtime my youngest son one of the twins definately has a large hole in his heart . He has to have a camera down asap to see exactly how big but they think it's quite serious. He's been short of breath and passing out so they were doing tests and spotted the hole easily . they think it's over 20mm and that's what they know up to now. According to the surgeon it's one final check then surgery. sorry to moan and be depressing.

Rainmac and anyone else hope your feeling better today. Don't think the weather is helping.

Mary i'd use dst tape too it's what i do liquid glue makes it go very soggy.

Craftygranny - so sorry to hear your son is poorly. Operations on the heart sound really scary but wonderful things can be done nowadays. He'll be fine, now they know what's wrong. Thinking of you xxx

I've very sorry craftgranny. Obviously surgery is never a good thing, but let's hope they can fix it for him. xx

I got my second order of promarkers today! Whoops. I thought I might as well make the most of the Cowlingg and Wilcox sale and free delivery while it was still on! I have two wallets, and already I need a third. :/

Does anyone have the lilac promarker? All my promarkers look exactly the same, except the lilac - which has a different font, the pattern doesn't go all the way round the label, and instead of saying the colour in a black rectangle at the edge, it says it in white in the middle. It looks kind of like a fake or something? Before I email the shop, does anyone else have this design?

Finally - I now have two repeat promarkers. Mint green and pastel pink. Would anyone like to swap for them?

Craftygranny - sorry to hear about your sad news, I hope surgery all goes well for him!

The-Wife - Did you have any problems from Storage 4 crafts? OH bought me the twin RUB unit which arrived last tuesday, he put it up and one of the holes was well out!! so he drilled another hole and when he went to put it in place one of the castors broke, I was so annoyed I told him to send it back :rotfl: instead he made me complain (which I did) on monday he got an invoice through for replacement castors with no charge which then arrived today but had no apology which left me spitting feathers!! ... I got on the phone to them today and told them how unhappy I was at not even an apology, she apologised profusely (yay!) and then about 2 hours later OH called and asked just how mad I went at her ... I told him I didn't but just mentioned that I was very unhappy and close to returning the unit ... we have a £20 gift voucher now :j

Just wondered if you had had any problems with your units? OH is going to order me a slim one when we come back off holiday :j

Hope everyone is ok, trying to keep up but been so busy ironing and trying to pack :rotfl: I will be glad for bedtime tomorrow and not so glad when we need to get up to drive!!

I think this is the old design as my fist promarkers were all like this and most of the recent ones I have had have been the all round design. hth

Yep this is normal, most of mine have the old label but I would say 30% have the newer label like your lilac :D they are still the same, just different wrapper so to speak :) I have all of them apart from 10 greys! I decided I didn't use the 5 greys I have enough to warrant buying the other 10 ... I keep eying up the copics now ... wonder if I can sneak some in without OH knowing!
