Thanks off to have a play, and if I get something to work then I'll blog it tomorrow.

Thanks for all your ideas. xx

Flourgirl i'd like some advice please. can you cut boxes etc out using a robo as my oh has offered to buy me one but i need more info really. I have a bug but love some of the bigz dies for boxes etc which don't work in a bug. but wondered if a robo would do similar things. Thank you for any advice you can give.

CT - when I had a go at doing one I hid it by putting a small punches star over it.

My machine is a Silhouette its just the same as a Robo but slightly different software (Ithink) shruggy shoulders thingy!!

Yes you can, I have loads of different files for boxes ;). I have only ever cut the whole thing out on A4 and some of them are quite small but I do know you can ungroup the files and say cut the lid on one sheet and the bottom on another, or if the box is a whole piece you can use a sheet of card 12x81/4 it only cuts A4 width IYKWIM. They are easy to do once you get used to it. As well as cutting them out they put score lines in too to make them easy to fold, well its more of a light perferation or you can remove the score lines and use an embossing tool and ruler. I love my machine but you have to have time and patience to get used to it. Its really a case of downloading the files resizing them to your requirements and doing save as so next time you just use your own file.

I hope you can understand what I mean, I do :rotfl:but it might be gobbledegook to you :rotfl:

You could always vist and have a go xx
