  • Hi Everyone, I went to the range today. I bought some 12by12 black card as I am getting into box making, also bought a fake quickie glue pen as loads cheaper that the real thing and an acrylic block. Whilst there I saw papermania brush markers. Are they any good or is better to invest in promarkers? Happy Crafting all! Re the magazine discusssion, I tend to buy the one with the best free gift! x p.s. what is a DT that I see being refered to on here?
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

not sure if this will help - no actual pics of vicars more church/bible related cartoons - may be too offensive?

Just popping on quickly as we haven't been back home long and it has been a manic day! Took the kids to the fair at south shields, OH's sister came with us, we have had so much fun and haven't stopped laughing all day!! Putting some pics on facebook now!

Will pop back later on and catch up properly later on. Time to get on the wii fat!

Thanks for all the wishes for OH, they have offered him the job  £3.50 an hour more than he is on now, but he wants to use it as a bargaining tool before quitting at this place and starting at the new a week monday ... so fingers crossed!

    Hi Everyone,

Back from a fab time camping with the kids and OH, and am now raring to get some cards made.
Just read back a couple of pages, so huge congratulations to all the recent winners, and those that have made DT – what a lucky bunch you are, and with such gorgeous cards. Just a few things I remembered reading as I was going through.

Sounds like the interview went well for your OH today Rusty.

Glad you liked camping Ali – I’m definitely a camping girl over a hotel, because with camping the kids go off and make friends and play together nicely, and you don’t see them until it is time to eat :)

Padster – Happy Anniversary, it is ours too, and have just put the card I made for him in the usual place, I’ll add the card that he made for me, as he has thought very laterally about incorporating ‘leather’ which is for 3 years.

A huge thank you to Rusty and Hogsheads for the parcels that arrived whilst we were away and to PONR for helping me out.

Dragonllew – thanks for telling me about Market Gallery in Poole, I ventured in a couple of times and came out with some great things. Couldn’t believe how cheap the card blanks were, so it would have been rude not to buy 2 packs of 50! They should keep me busy for a while.

Great news about your confirmed leaving date Gemm, sooner rather than later, I bet you will now be counting the days and hours, before you embark on a new adventure.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, I reckon they have whizzed by to be honest – glad you are having a good time with your mum Melissa.

Our ghost tour has come round, and we are off to Alton Towers really early on Friday morning for the ‘Terror Tour’ in the evening. Really not looking forward to it :(, but it can’t be any worse than childbirth – I’m just really scared of the dark, and if we hear any noises then that will completely spook me out.

I’ll catch up properly next Monday, after our weekend away, and get back into bloghopping.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

CT - That is the good side of camping we were near the play area and didnt see them - they made good friends and it was nice because they all got on really nice - no little nasties !!

rainmac - I know a vicar - good grief - marg posted a link for some great cartoons so I think it will be a case of copying one of those and matting it on to a card. Apparently he has a good sense of humour pops in my mums who lives next door but one for a cuppa and a natter - he is single. Oh its come to me I have some little cups and biscuits and tea pots - I could do something like off fiddle fart with the squares and put ...wait for it.... 'more tea vicar!!' lol - very lame I know!!
