Well the kids have settled in well and are behaving themselves. I think we're off to Coombe Abbey in a bit - last time we went there were donkey rides there and the kids loved it. I'm planning on making Mum a mini book for xmas of our visit so I've got to make sure I take loads of pics!

Rusty - congrats on sticking to your wii fit exercises - you're doing much better than me!!! Good luck to your OH for today!

Jellybaby - I think as Rusty says we are our own worst critics - sometimes I get disheartened with my cards when I look at others - I just try to focus on the fact that I enjoy making them - that's all that matters really!!! Can't wait to see your cards!

Irlrip - that's good advice really - just practice and see what you enjoy using rather than buying loads and wasting your money. I'm going to try and post you a little something later to help you!

Flourgirl - definately go for a DT place - your cards are fantastic!

Rainmac - I'm tempted to sign up for the card swap but I won't be back from Mum's until the 20th!

    Congrats to our latest winners!!!

I forgot to say that the lady from the blog - Lexi got in touch and said I could be on the DT when I get back - its only for 1 week - but I didn't want to let her down - so I'm glad that its sorted.

Glad Lexi got back to you Melissa :D
    Thank you Flourgirl ;)

I think we all look at other people's card and think I wish I could..........
With me it's have the patience to colour Tildas although I have to admit that I'm not really a great fan of them so I only have a few images that people have kindly sent me.
Or use distress inks - would end up in an inky mess
Or use all these flowers and pins and stuff that are so popular at the mo
But I know they just don't fit with my style which is generally quite clean as I like to focus on the image :)

My cling on has just arrived so am off to stick myself to the table :rotfl::rotfl: Only thing I've bought although OH did buy me the latest set of bears from Bugaboo for the grand total of £4.86 :D

    Congrats to all the winners
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Yeah, all that, but most of all I wish to be able to stick stuff on straight!!:o:o I've posted another couple of cards today that look as if a drunk person has made them:rotfl:

Flourgirl - Thank you so much for my lovely surprise the postie has just brought :A I'd only been thinking of you @ lunchtime - I went to get some ham for the butties & passed the bag shop where they had a sale of Radley summer bags & some very nice warm coloured winter ones :)

Gemma - so pleased for you - it'll pass in a flash now :j

Hope everyone is having a great day! I'm not having the best day today, but i won't bore you all with the details.

Congratulations to all the winners :j
My Funflock arrived today, can't wait to play with it. Thank you for the recommendation from SCATTYJAN.

I have been updating the you know what, if you fancy a look.

I have 2 questions for you all,

How do i add the 'badges' from other peoples blogs to mine?

I am thinking about subscribing to one of the craft magazines, but can't decide between them all, can someone recommend the 'best' one?

    Thanks for your help xx

I subscribe to Papercrafts which is an Americna magazine that come once every 2 months. I started to feel that britsih magazines were very samey after a while.

I can't matt and layer straight at all! Even though cards look better matted and layered I avoid it like the plague unless I'm using nesties. I tend to cheat and ink edges. I wish I could embellish cards the way some people do but can't bring myself to put so many on - I'd rather save my really nice embellies for scrapbooking.
