Gemma - the thing that come to mind for me are pretty cups & saucers, I'm sure I've seem digis like that you could then go to town & decorate them really prettily & add a cupcake or two - I'll see if I can find something.
Well Done on your sales Rusty - a good excuse to break your stash ban?
"I went to a crafter's wedding recently and sat on a table with a laod of cardmakers to eat our meal. There were loads of these posh crystal gems scattered on the table. The significant word is 'were' as the gems were soon stashed in out handbags. Now thats sad!"
Soma Not sad at all I'd have done the same!!:rotfl::rotfl:
PONR - thanks for further dew drop info
elysia - that's the sort of thing that happens to me! Can you put it back on ebay?
Fraid not Marg ..... I am well and truly stuck on my stash ban ... went to hobbycraft on sat and came out completely empty handed!... May keep it going and see if I can do 2 months as I am nearly at the end of my 1st month! plus I am enjoying using up old stash which hasn't seen light of day for a LONG time!
Gemm I like the plate and stand card idea? ... you could maybe decorate the edge with blue flourishes of some kind to look like a china plate?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Congratulations artydoll :j:T
Ali the zip wire sounds great fun - Congratulations
Dragonllew Great tip for using the embossing tool - I don't have a mat and wondered if I should get one. I think I'll try doing it your way.
Rusty you are definately on a roll - congratulations
Off for lunch - I'll pop back on later. Have a great day all0 -
My first stamp has arrived. I have never seen one before:o I can't believe how small it is and it looks so intricate, don't know if it was a good choice for my first attempt:eek: I bought this one

Also got the Magnolia Ink "A Midsummer Night's Dream" magazine. I had hoped for a few instruction suitable for beginners but there is nothing much but all I can say about the cards is WOW:D0 -
I've just ordered some dew drops (4 colours!) and some flat backed pearls from Sarah's Cards on ebay. Can't wait to try them out!!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

thanks for all the cuttlebug tips guys, now i don't know whether to get a bug or a big shot, I have read that big shots aren't as good as embossing as the often catch edges is this true? Also do you need to buy an extra mat/plate to cut and emboss with for other dies like you with the bug?
xHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
Well - my stamps finally arrived - stupid postman!!! They've already been stamped - my images are ready to go to my Mum's with me!!!
Elysia - oh no - when do you think your ink pad will be delivered?
Irlrip - I bought that one too - its really pretty! It stamps really well - the only Magnolia stamps that I've had problems with have been the wider ones - like the Tilda with the frog. I'm tempted to get the magazine and have it sent to my Mum's to read while I'm there, trouble is I really should order a stamp at the same time to make it worth her while!!! Was it the midsummer night's dream mag that you ordered?? I wondered whether it had the fairytale stamps in it???0 -

I have just had a quick look through. It is just as you have on your Blog, a card and then what they have used to make it. I had hoped for a bit more instruction. I will go and have a look at what stamps they have used and let you know.0 -
Marg, sorry I didn't reply earlier, it's been busy here and I must have missed your post - I could put on ebay but by the time ebay and paypal have had their cut it wouldn't make much.
Melissa - I was hoping my ink pad and nesties would have turned up today. Oh well if they come tomorrow it spreads the excitement out a bit! Have a nice few days at your Mum's. In case I don't get on again, take care travelling!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
