Ooops! Beginning to think my email to Crafty Ribbons didn't actually get delivered as I've not heard from them!!! Boohoo....I've been having problems with my router dropping out for the last few days I think DH has fixed it now so I need to catch up on the blogs.0

Did my question about Dew Drops get missed???? I had asked about them in an earlier post and where I would get them. Do they give the same effect as a droplet of 3d gloss or are they different???The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

Sorry PONR - I've no idea either what they are or how to use them!0 -
......is the hougie one much different to the top score one? And are there any cheaper ones that are still good?
Also where do you all get your card from? Ive read that its best to use 280 gsm to make my card blanks but I can't find places that sell a4 pieces of 280 gsm card!
Sorry to be a pain but just wondered if anyone had any answers?0 -

I have an MS Score Board and it is nice and big and has lots of grooves in it. The only thing I find is that the scoring tool sometimes slips out of the grooves. I know others have also found this. Otherwise it is great as you have 1/4 and 1/8 grooves. I also have another board but not used that one yet! I have no idea about the Hougie or Top Score boards.
A few months back Lidl had some 280gsm card in bright colours - 25 sheets for £1.99 and it is really good. I don't think they have it at the moment but it's worth keeping a look out there for it. I bought a pack of 100 mixed card weights in various colours from Hobbycraft a few weeks back also on offer for £5.99 - not sure if they still have it on offer or not.The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Oh so you buy them as little stones rather than drop a liquid onto say a flower or leaf. I have been searching online for them but they are in colours - I thought they would be clear. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
Moopie - sorry I've only got the MS scoreboard. Re card: I like the Craftwork Cards blanks or I've had square blanks from a shop 'Craft Central' local to me that seem OK. For my next venture I'm going to try Rymans as recommended by rainmac. I've very recently discovered they have a branch in my hometown - bet they've been there for ages I just didn't know!!
My Crafty Ribbons app didn't get there - sometimes I just hate computers:( I'm still not absolutely sure why but I clicked the link on their page and replied in the box that popped up but it seems that Outlook Express isn't set up on this PC & that's what the box was.....wish I knew more about all this technology.:(

ponr I get mine from here i have all the colours and they are really good i love them . They are kind of like a tiny acrylic pebble. Fab in the centre of flowers too.
Moopie i have the martha stewart board . I have heard great things about the hougie board though it has cm on one side and inches on the other so that sounds great.
Marg technology drives me crazy we have 4 pc's and my lappy and mine is the only one that loses connection drives me loopy and i don't have outlook express set up either. wouldn't know where to start .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Morning ladies.
Outlook express isn't set up on mine either, so I can't help you, sorry.
Do you really need a scoring board? All I've ever used is pre-scored card blanks, and when I've made easel cards I've just folded and creased along the line!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
