Well I've got a day of organising ahead of me - trying to figure out what stuff to take to my Mums. Hopefully my new Magnolia stamps will arrive today so that I can stamp some and take the images with me to colour!!!

Fifi Folle - lovely cards - your embossed card is really pretty - fab technique!!! I love your craftwork cards' cards too - my favourite is the pink and black - very classy!!

Wanna-b - happy holidays - hope you have a fab time!

    morning

wanna-b have a lovely holiday and good luck with the packing

elysia have fun with your tildas. which ones did you get? thanks for the digi it's full of personality :)

melissa hope your tildas arrive today

determined to make a Tilda card today after hearing all this magnolia love so watch this space!

for the person who asked about card blanks - I cheat and buy pre-folded blanks and envelopes. It alreday takes me over 4 hours to make a card! I don't buy anita's/ do crafts becaus etehy are too thin for me. I buy sturdy blanks from my local craft shop.

regarding outlook express, I don't have it set up either. If a link opens outlook express, I will left click on it and select the 'copy shortcut' option on the menu. This gives the e-mail address that it's trying to send a message to. I then paste it into hotmail and send the e-mail as usual. Hope this helps because I wasn't quite sure what the problem was.

dewdrops - I have some but rarely use them as I usually make cards in a hurry and you need glossy accents to glue them onto card as they are clear drops. Glossy accents take forever to dry!

Thank you Soma that looks like the solution I need. Hopefully I'll remember next time it happens. The problem was that I didn't realise until last night when everyone was saying they'd had a reply from crafty ribbons that my email hadn't gone  and I'd missed the chance. I was so mad I don't think I'll make the same mistake again.

I didn't even realise what Dewdrops were until Craftygranny posted the link - I always think they look posh scattered round photos of a card. (sad, I know)

I went to a crafter's wedding recently and sat on a table with a laod of cardmakers to eat our meal. There were loads of these posh crystal gems scattered on the table. The significant word is 'were' as the gems were soon stashed in out handbags. Now thats sad!

Elysia - have you inked your Tildas up yet???

I emailed CraftyIdeasbyKaz (the tilda woman) and she's getting the new releases in soon - she said she'd email me when they arrived!!!

I know some of you use Fimo to make fab things - I saw this deal on hotukdeals for a starter kit - looks like a good price:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Staedtler-Fimo-Starter-8023-10/dp/B0002VE2ZQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=kids&qid=1281348142&sr=1-1
in fact I'm tempted to get one for Brandon for his birthday - he loves making things.

Oh so you buy them as little stones rather than drop a liquid onto say a flower or leaf. I have been searching online for them but they are in colours - I thought they would be clear.

I only know of one place which sells them and that is sarahs cards (clear and coloured) I have debated many a time about buying some but never did in the end! I have bought epoxy dots though which are quite cute as they are textured. I got my epoxy dots from here

Rainmac - Not sure if I can say anything or not? Still waiting for some more details which she said she will send out to me in the next day or 2, I can tell you that there are quite a few on the DT team and looks like she has a DT call at the min ;)

Managed to sell loads of clothes of both mine and OH's on ebay, some things went for silly pennies :( but the majority went for nearly as much as I paid for it lol ... the joys of plus size clothing. Made just under £50 on it so am quite happy with that, just got to bag it all up and get it to the post office today!

    Hope everyone is ok?

Craftyjuju - Saw Melissas link to the Fimo, and wondered what it was you used as I know you found a cheaper alternative?

Help! I have had a request for a 20th wedding anniversary card (theme is China), anyone got any ideas? I'd really like to incorporate the china theme but I am fresh out of inspiration!
