Moopie - I have the sx515w and think a couple of oters do to. Tomsmum has another model and she's really pleased with hers.

Carmim - yes you can put brass plates thorough, but you'll need an embossing mat

Would fun foam sheets do? i seem to have a few of these in the why did i buy pile

They might be a bit flimsy, but certainly worth a try:D

carmim, that is interesting I have some metal stencils and the nesties embossing pads.think I think I may pop up and see what happens when you put it through the big shot,

hello,

I have just tried the metal stencils in the big shot using this sandwich recipe,

tab2
cutting plate
cardstock
stencil the right way you want it,
2 x nestie embossing pads
cutting mat,

and it came out quite good, i'm chuffed as the stencils are really cheap to get hold of
