thanks choccy, I know its silly and people have worse problems in their lives but I get frustrated so easily and hate incompetent people  we seem to have a different postman every time I see one, which isn't very often as I am usually out at work when the post comes. I am however off work tomorrow - so I can lie in wait for the one who comes tomorrow :D and [STRIKE]attack him [/STRIKE]ask him if he did the round today as well. I might send OH to the sorting office with the slip as well to see if he will ask there ont he off chance they have written the wrong thing and just taken it back to the depot. worse things happen at sea I suppose :o

Yes i would be tempted to lie in wait and hit him with something :rotfl:.. Send OH in with a stern word that they left this and yet no parcels were left anywhere... Makes me cross too that people dont actually deliver things by making sure thats what they do.By safely had it to someone. He may of thought he was saving you a job going to collect it, but if its not somewhere secure theres always a chance that some inconsiderate person caught sight of him leaving it there and 'borrowed' it.
Hope your other things turn up tomorrow xx

Yep, thats us, can you see I'm a good girlie and put out my recycling :)
  • Thank you all for the warm welcome and yes I am sure I will have lots of questions so standby folks :p I am going to have a go at 2 mother's day cards so will try to post a picture tomorrrow if I get them done. I am getting frustrated as I am restricted in what I can make as I am limited to using freebies off the internet and recycled cards at the moment (cant justify the cost buying things like stamps, inks, embelishments etc at the moment) Cant wait till I do have a bit of money to spare I will definately stock up then! Love some of the designs that you clever people have done, and I have found the part 1 thread really useful, so thank you to those people who have gone out of their way to post the useful links and things.

Hi Twinkle and welcome - I use lots of freebies from the internet also. I have a huge collection things that I have downloaded. You can get some great stuff for free!!! :T

Hi Choccy, got your text :) the other papers came this morning too, you will love them they are gorgeous!

Been out today for a drive and went to Morley near Leeds DH lived there as a child for a few years. Nothing to look at but they did have a large Home Bargains :) Oh and a new statue of Ernie Wise (rubbish!!) set amongst about 20 different charity shops and betting shops!!!

Has any of you looked at Google Earth lately? DH shouted me to go and have a look on his puter, it fantastic! pity it was bin day when they took the piccie of my house. We saw the camera one day last summer when we went to my mums and we followed it in the car (sad I know!) and we are on it waving!

Hello Newbies :) good to have you on board.

Marg Its good to have you back, you had better make some Alice cake now before you have withdrawal symptoms lol Hope you and your DH are feeling better x

Phew at least i know i have your number correct. I hate putting numbers in my phone, its hard with a dodgy keypad :rotfl::o

DS was very upset with google earth, His car was at my mums when the cars came round ( He had it for his 18th and it was hiding there ;)) But its still not been updated and he keeps thinking that it should be :rotfl:. I also had my living room curtains shut as we have a through lounge and it was a hot day. ( You can see straight into the house from the street and i hate it ) Might go and have a look and see if its changed ;)

Hi everyone - sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days - I just don't seem to have had the time to catch up. It was oldest son's birthday yesterday - I can't believe he's 8!!!! Overnight he's decided that he's a grown up and is asking if he can go to the shop on his own!

I still haven't received my prize - I keep getting so excited every time I hear the postman - but nothing yet!

I've actually made a couple of cards and done a layout - I've just got to blog them now plus look to see what challenges I can enter with them.

Have I still got those dead flowers in my front room window, can someone please check me out? If you do, you'll see you have to turn right when you've had a tad to much to drink in the pub other wise its Splosh! and in the water.
