Only a mitt for me Wifey but my lappy loses half of my blog sometimes

Rusty - them ribbon storage thingys look like the old fashioned bobbins that you used to buy ribbon and elastic on - am really showing my age now - you should be able to make your own from either mountboard or thin MDF - could you cannibalise (sp?) some coasters?
Surpassed myself this morning - won't cook don't cook (me) - got up at 7 to throw tea in the slow cooker so OH only had to do spudsI was being sneaky coz I wanted chicken chasseur which he doesn't like and I didn't want him to start cooking when he got in so I ended up washing up at bedtime :rotfl:.
Hopefully can spend that time crafting :jOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

hi all, some gorgeous makes on blogs as usual, will get round to commenting on them all later on
sorry to come here and just moan but I really have to get this off my chest as I feel like cryingI ordered my scor pal on the 27th Feb and last friday ended up phoning them as I hadn't received anything, they then told me it was out of stock until tuesday the 9th march (even though the website said 'in stock' when I ordered it!)
so I said ok I'll wait, checked the website order tracking on tuesday and the status has changed to completed. I didn't expect it to come yesterday of course, but when I got home today there was a slip through the door from the postman saying that he had left an item in the wheelie bin shed next to the front door.
I was expecting to see my scor-pal in there (as it's the only thing I've ordered that he wouldn't get through the letterbox) but when I went to look there is nothing thereso I now have to wait 15 days from date of posting to tell the company I havent received it!
and to top it all off I placed 3 other orders on saturday, none of which have arrived  I really could cry, so sorry to moan on to you all but no one else understands, when I tell OH he just says 'oh well, you'll jsut have to wait then', it's been so long already and now it looks like it may have been stolen ;( grrrr I feel like I could strangle the postman, he occasionally leaves things in the bin shed and nothings ever been lost before, but we've never actually told him its OK to leave stuff in there
Gemm do you have a 'usual 'postie ? I say that as we often have lots of different ones as we are on an awkward roundseems no posties like this one... If you do try ringing the collections department and tell them or see if you can catch the postie and ask him not to leave things there. My van postie used to drive up put parcels by the door, ring the bell, get in his van and drive off. In the end i had to ring and get them to tell him not too.
I know it doesnt help with your immediate problem but might help in the future.. Sending you a big hug because i would be really upset too xxfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Elastic used to come on that type of thing too :rotfl: and some ribbons...
Thick cardboard might work, oooh or the bottoms out of chest of drawers think thats thin mdf ? Wickes or homebase would be a place to try but then you need to get your saw out :rotfl:
I love my slowcooker... Throw tea in there and just craft all dayfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Hi Choccy, got your text
the other papers came this morning too, you will love them they are gorgeous!
Been out today for a drive and went to Morley near Leeds DH lived there as a child for a few years. Nothing to look at but they did have a large Home BargainsOh and a new statue of Ernie Wise (rubbish!!) set amongst about 20 different charity shops and betting shops!!!
Has any of you looked at Google Earth lately? DH shouted me to go and have a look on his puter, it fantastic! pity it was bin day when they took the piccie of my house. We saw the camera one day last summer when we went to my mums and we followed it in the car (sad I know!) and we are on it waving!
Hello Newbiesgood to have you on board.
Marg Its good to have you back, you had better make some Alice cake now before you have withdrawal symptoms lol Hope you and your DH are feeling better x0 -

thanks choccy, I know its silly and people have worse problems in their lives but I get frustrated so easily and hate incompetent people  we seem to have a different postman every time I see one, which isn't very often as I am usually out at work when the post comes. I am however off work tomorrow - so I can lie in wait for the one who comes tomorrowand [STRIKE]attack him [/STRIKE]ask him if he did the round today as well. I might send OH to the sorting office with the slip as well to see if he will ask there ont he off chance they have written the wrong thing and just taken it back to the depot. worse things happen at sea I suppose

Wifey your blog looks fab! I could only see the angel's hand too until I changed my IE zoom settings back to 100% (I usually have it on 125% cos I'm practically blind) then it looked perfect :T0
