Not brilliant here at the moment but we'll get through it we always do. My stepdad's brother passed away yesterday morning. Alicia seems to be ok re the tumour but her mum is really worried about the leg pains . We are hoping they are just growing pains but her mum naturally thinks the worst . Docs don't really knoe they gave her magnesium as her levels were low but it doesn't seem to be helping yet.
Carly shouted at her baby brother this morning cos he dared to touch her bracelet . The poor lad was only trying to look at the dangly butterfly but she wouldn't let him she was shouting carly carly's and scowling at him. It's her party tomorrow so lord help us if they want to look at it. lol. She's not selfish she'll let him play with everything else she just loves it so much.

My oh must think i have too much time on my hands he suggested setting up a facebook shop and sending a link to all the families that use the implant centre . We have a few orders just from the people who went on wednesday. We aren't sure what to make for the fundraising yet i think we'll be doing a couple of craft fairs so hope to make some notebooks and some tea bag holders and lots of smaller things that will hopefully sell well so if anyone has any ideas and doesn't mind sharing . feel free

What does 'Paper Piecing mean' - anyone know?? Does the fairy card that I just blogged count as paper piecing?? LOL!

PONR I've never done paper piercing but I've seen it on cards where a pattern has been created on the edge and joined up with short dashes with a fine pen.

Perhaps someone else will be along soon.

TomsMom a new furbaby, wow! BF's are so sweet and usually nice natured too.

On the challenge it says paper piecing not piercing so am not sure what they mean lol. I looked at some of the other entries and it look like they have just layered pieces!

    Hiya hun,

Tried to PM you earlier with my photobucket details but your inbox is full! Paper piecing - As an example, if you use a character stamp, stamp on white card and also a patterned piece of paper, cut out the parts you want from the patterned paper and stick it on - Kind like this image (I snipped from Google Images)

Thanks babyfreckles, crafty granny and artydoll I've learned something today. :D Pop it onto the challenge PONR, you've got nothing to lose.

Not too sure whether I could ever do anything like that, you know me, cut like a two year old! I suppose if you used something like a Sizzix die with a few different cuts on it and put it together, this would count????? Would different layers of a Nestie count???????????
