Craftygranny – hope Carly had a great birthday, and has a fab party at the weekend.
Rainmac – have a great evening at the cinema with your OH. Enjoy another child free night!

It is our 3rd wedding anniversary on 11th Aug, and my OH told me yesterday the he hadn’t forgotten and that he was sorting something out. I said jokingly that he needed to make me a card, and I’d be gutted if he bought me one, although he said it is the thought that counts. So bless him he has agreed, but he said that the ones we make both needed to incorporate what the 3rd anniversary is. Having looked it up it is leather. Been trying to think how I can make a card about leather and have come up with nothing except maybe trying to make one in the shape of a wallet, and somehow try and get hold of some ‘fake leather’ paper somewhere. Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?
Will blog hop later to see all your wonderful makes.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Well done Dragonllew and alib - I think I congratulated the other winners earlier on.

My night out with my friend has been cancelled because of the really heavy rain we've had again so I'll go on a blog hop after Corrie.

Just wanted to say that I might be getting that puppy tomorrow, we're going to see her in the afternoon and I think it will be very hard to say no after we've seen her. We had a trial run with the puppy's sister that my son has got and our cat this afternoon. Cat was curious and a bit wary but no bad reaction, hopefully she wont mind sharing her home. I had to let OH have the final say, I didn't want him giving in just because I wanted her, I said he must want her too.

    Hi all,
Took kids to library craft event today. They made alien masks and door hangers. Plus decorated biscuits which funnily enough they both loved doing! Loads of sprinkles all over the library floor, glad it wasn't my house!
Did manage a little bit more of my knitting while kids were at their swimming lessons earlier but thats about all the crafting I've done today.
Thanks to the crafty ribbon code yesterday I have a huge parcel of ribbons coming, ooops.
Hopefully get some more crafty things done tomorrow. Oh I've just got an ebay alert to say I've won the nestabilities set I was bidding on. There a girl in ireland selling them new, but the auction price starts at 1p ( well euro actually, took me ages to work out what I wanted to bid!). I've bid on a few sets as I doubt I'll get them all. I'll let oyu know if I get any bargains!
Night all, sleep well and lots of sweet dreams about these exciting holidays everyone has planned.
    Nici x
