    Congratulations ali b

and thanks for the Bugaboo freebie link

CT I found this, there's a thing at the top saying if you sign up to their newsletter you can get 6 free downloads too so it's kinda free

TomsMom I really, really hope you come home with a new puppy tomorrow :j:j:j I'm so excited for you.

OH is on the PS3 so I'm off for a blog hop - if you get some weird comments it'll be the Pina Colada talking :)

Thanks PepPop - been surfing the net tonight and managed to find a man's wallet to make, so the burgundy one I think would work. If I have any luck making it, I'll eventually blog it. Enjoy the Pina Colada!
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

It is our 3rd wedding anniversary on 11th Aug, and my OH told me yesterday the he hadn’t forgotten and that he was sorting something out. I said jokingly that he needed to make me a card, and I’d be gutted if he bought me one, although he said it is the thought that counts. So bless him he has agreed, but he said that the ones we make both needed to incorporate what the 3rd anniversary is. Having looked it up it is leather. Been trying to think how I can make a card about leather and have come up with nothing except maybe trying to make one in the shape of a wallet, and somehow try and get hold of some ‘fake leather’ paper somewhere. Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?
Will blog hop later to see all your wonderful makes.

I have a this stamp, quite large & some off cuts of leather. Maybe I could TRY & stamp you an image onto the cream/white leather & you could bling it up with some gems. Add a bit of fringing along the bottom edge.....
If I am barking up the wrong tree I do apologise.

ooh hogshead thats sounds cool. Lovely stamp.

My poor oh wouldn't know where to start to make me one. Cheeky monkey said he married me wasn't that enough. Mine is pearl this year now that does make me feel old .He said i'll buy you a new stamp though then you can make your own. how sad does he think i am. I'll take the stamp though.lol.

JuJu carly loves her bracelet she wouldn't take it off at bedtime .We had to let her wear it to bed then sneak in and take it when she was asleep. She was devastated this morning when she woke up and it was gone . It's been worn again all day today and she's shown it to everyone and proclaimed it's carly carly's . Poor grandad went out and bought her a jewellery box then she'd take it off but it's right by her bed and she's thrilled cos she can put it on and off herself. So thank you very much .

ooh pep pop hope you can go to jamie olivers it sounds great.

Flourgirl stamping those nellies may be painful lol i do have the odd one or two i feel the repetitive strain from stamping coming on already.

Phew - just spent the whole eveing trying to scan and then upload the stamped images that I did today. It took ages and then photobucket was behaving strangely!!!!

If anyone would like to have any of the images the link is http://s781.photobucket.com/home/Digi_Images PM me for the password.

I have a few more to stamp up but I need to buy a large acrylic block as the ones I have are too small!!! As soon as I get one I will add a few more images.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but can someone tell me what the 'furry' stuff is that you use on cards? I'm after something for snow effect on christmas cards, or is there anything else any of you can recommend something that will do the same sort of thing. I am going to Hobbycraft and the Range tomorrow/today (saturday) to spend my birthday money from today/ye11sterday (friday) :D

I got a Sizzix embossing kit too so can't wait to get stuck in :j

    Any recommendations much appreciated!!

Hi everyone, been a while since I posted.

I have just added my blog to my profile, so if anyone wants to have a nosey, please feel free!

Be warned though, the last couple of entries are quite long as I tend to 'forget' to blog each time I make something, and blog it all at once lol
That habit will be changed though!

The new wool, ProMarkers, cutting mat, and paint pallet that I ordered with my birthday money arrived this last couple of days, so I have started on a second knitted project!

I only have a couple more birthdays this year to make for, and I only need to make a couple more Christmas cards too, so I am gonna be done early this year woohooo, then I can start entering contests again, which I have missed doing these past few months!

    hi kms,

There are a couple of ways to get the 'furry stuff' effect.
You could use polar white flower soft or you can opt to use something like this. There is another product like the latter one, but it's name totally escapes me right now lol

Found this too, but it doesn't look all that great to me?
