Congratulations Fifi Folle - great prize too.

Nici Good to see you posting again - hope you're doing better.

Padster glad you got your card fixed, that was a great price too. I know exactly what you mean about being a natural loner - me too.

rainmac your Home Alone night sounds perfect (especially the Minstrels :)) Hope you have a great night tonight.

ponr Yay! You got your flight booked :T Have a fab time! That's great news about your Aunt too - so pleased for you.

Thanks Marg, last night was a bit quiet because we're both working today but I'm off to get my haircut tomorrow and then OH is taking me to the new Jamie Oliver restaurant (or our favourite Indian restaurant if we can't get in) then the cinema to celebrate properly. Great idea about the list and emails - just let me know when you're ready.

    giggle

madfrog congratulations on your pending Auntiness. (does that even make sense ?)

tiredmom hope you have a lovely time away.

Better go and do some work now - it's really quiet here today and I can't be bothered so no dout i'll be back shortly... ;)

I'm doing good I think, I did buy a magazine yesterday but don't see that as stash and some foam pads. No significant puchases or 'ooohhh I am having that cos it's pretty' from me this week :j

Wooohooo - just booked my flight to the US. I fly out on 26 August!!!!! Hopefully I will be there for 2 months again!!

Good news also - went to visit my auntie today and she had a letter from her consultant saying that she is in remission from cancer. I'm so happy as she has been through so much. It's good to know she will be here with us for a few more years, all being well.

My other poor friend had his operation today for bowel cancer - hope he gets good news as well. I need to make him a card but have no idea what image I can use. He is sporty and 34 yrs old so not into cutie things! If anyone has any suitable images or ideas I would be grateful!!! I can't spend any money on digi or stamps though due to above....;) Thanks!

How exciting about the US! Good news about your auntie. My OH was told a few weeks ago he can consider himself in remission but as his is a rare and incurable sort we're taking it one day at a time, daren't look too far ahead but treat each day a bonus. Sorry I can't think of anything for your friend, I'm not too good with ideas but here's wishing him well.

I didn't manage to get back on yesterday as I was out last night, I've read through all the pages and now forgotten everything I've read. I keep getting phone calls from my son trying to persuade me to buy a puppy. They've just got a Bichon Frise pup and she is absolutely gorgeous and he's trying to get us to have one too, I'm a pushover, OH needs more persuading. He'd give in if I went on enough, but I want him to want one too as it's such a big commitment. We've had dogs in the past so know what's involved.

Anyway, as I've completely lost the thread of what I was going to say I'll just say to those going on holiday have a great time and I hope the weather is good for you.

Well done to the winners :T.

Hugs to those who need them.

Re: images. I don't have a photobucket account, and I rarely stamp these days as I'm not too brilliant at it, but if anyone sees anything on my blog they like then please ask as I do have most of them scanned.

I've got a finished card to blog today and might try to make another one. Am out again tonight so have a good day everyone.

Ok - those of you on stash ban look away now

I've just got an email from Craft Superstore and they've just got in their Dovecraft Christmas stuff - there are some really nice papers and I thought they weren't a bad price
There's a BOGOF on Buzzcraft blank cards and envelopes until Midnight Sunday
    And finally Half Price Adhesives

Hope these are of use to some of you - I'm off to make a card during my lunch break... (I'm gonna get some funny looks - I can tell)
