Just want to say a quick hi as I've finally pulled my socks up and kicked myself up the bum to get online again. I've been more exhausted than down but neither helps the other. The kids have started the summer hols and having both home together is proving more tiring than I remember! Gosh how I remember school holidays through rose tinted specs, lol.
Hmmm should say thanks for the link to crafty ribbons - except it through gritted teeth as spent waaaaaay to much money!- thanks for the code though as at least I didn't have to add postage to it.
I have been busy knitting of late as it helps my head to focus so not much paper crafting been getting done other than at craft class.
Big thanks for my July craft stash swap from CP (Sorry I can't remember your MSE name!). It is fab and I took it along with me to craft class last night and have been busy using all the fab papers and embellishments to decorate my never ending card. I will attempt to scan an image of each page. Still got the last page to decorate on it! Took ages to get it put together and then it really did seem neverending when it came to decorating it!
I have posted your stash package so hopefully you will get it tomorrow. I went to the post office and posted it so as not to risk getting the postage wrong.
Right I am going to potter over to ebay and try not to spend any money on there, honest I'm only looking

It's me, me :j Your parcel came today, thank you x

    Congratulations ********* xxx

I am actually having a night off doing anything tonight, I'm watching Lie to Me which I love and noshing through a bag of Minstrels which I also love :) Found out today that my neighbour is 65 on Saturday so need to make a card for him tomorrow.

    Big hugs to everyone x

  • Wooohooo - just booked my flight to the US. I fly out on 26 August!!!!! Hopefully I will be there for 2 months again!!

Good news also - went to visit my auntie today and she had a letter from her consultant saying that she is in remission from cancer. I'm so happy as she has been through so much. It's good to know she will be here with us for a few more years, all being well.

My other poor friend had his operation today for bowel cancer - hope he gets good news as well. I need to make him a card but have no idea what image I can use. He is sporty and 34 yrs old so not into cutie things! If anyone has any suitable images or ideas I would be grateful!!! I can't spend any money on digi or stamps though due to above....;) Thanks!

Thanks for the offer re images I will pm you.

I have just done the b word by the way. Should have been for my niece's card and the two I made at the challenge class. I did my usual though and completely forgot to photograph them before sending them .

Fab cake and you rustled that up quick. Looks nicer than the one she's having sunday and that one is 80 quid :rotfl:

Well done to the lucky winners .

Ponr hope you have a great trip and fab news for your auntie.

OOOh and i took a huge stack of post to the post office today so if you're waiting for something from me it should be with you in the next day or two . Hopefully tomorrow as they all went first class. Be interesting to see how many of these they lose. better lose none or i'll be sending Kaitlyn to complain. lol . If you don't get anything from me and i should have sent it let me know as writing everything down doesn't always help. I forget where i left the list pmsl. Oh well i know i'm losing the plot.

    Well Done ????????? :j

Glad you're having a good evening rainmac

A bit late in the day Craftygranny but sending Happy Birthday ((Hugs)) for Carly.

Peppop - Congratulations on your 5 year anniversary.

I don't have many stamps but I do have random images which I'm always happy to share so please shout if you are looking for anything.

As 'the list' is getting on for 6 months old and new names have been added I'm planning to re-issue it in, say, September. It's ocurred to me that with the potential for sharing images I could add email addresses. My pm box is a bit full just now but I'll start taking info soon. :).

I can't remember who (sorry!) but someone asked about keeping the edges of your card tidy on the inside if you colour the edges to match/tone with Promarkers. Just a little tip, measure the backing paper and then draw a line in pencil just inside the line of where the paper will go and colour up to the edge of that line. This will give you a tidy line of colour seepage on the inside. Does that make sense????? If not, tell me and I'll try again.

It was me and that makes perfect sense thank you.
