Morning girls, Hope your postie doesn't keep you waiting saucy,
Popkins glad to hear you're doing well with the sort out . wish i was but i'll get there. My hubby reckons it's because more stuff keeps coming in . oops may have a point but i won't be telling him that .
Hoping to finish decorating the living room today and tomorrow as my new sofa is due next week. See it's not just craft stuff i've been buying. lol.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Hassy - there's loads of people on here that can advise you on anything technical if you need help - I'm afraid I'm not much use.
Rusty - I prefer the penny lane papers to the bella ones - but both are lovely. I did have a search for them online but didn't come up with much. I'm hoping places like quixotic paperie might stock them as she sells the big xmas pad - fingers crossed. I'm still trying to decide which of the new collections to buy - its my birthday in April so I might treat myself to a load then along with the cosmo pads. but then again I haven't spent anything for ages so maybe I deserve a treat!!!!
You definately deserve a treat :rotfl: I am loving the cosmo cricket ones aswell but really trying to be good .... but may give in!! I know craftie-charlie sell the bellabella ones for £11.99 and the penny lane ones for £18.99 I need to ring the shop I got mine from to see how much the bella bella ones are there! I finally got the little boy blue papers, and also the jack and jill ones, I bought them in a pack from craft island then bought the matching bazzil to go with it
Saucy - I can't remember which ones I sent you? were they a coloured pack? If so then I got them from WHSmiths in the sale think they were about £3 a while back normally they are about £6-£7 for a pack. You can probably get them from places like craft superstore or something? Do you have a diecutting machine? only reason I ask is I saw you talking about nesties? they will only work with a die cutting machine!
Popkins - Hope you feel better soon!
Craftygranny - Everytime your hubby shakes his head just tell him that it could be worse as the pens and stamps are cheap in comparison to prada and radley handbags
Cor you lot can't half gasbag!!
I am in agony today, I sat and did some ironing last night rather than paying the ironing lady to do it! (figured as I had bought me shiny new papers then I ought to iron and save the money rather than paying her!) I said to OH that I think he should buy me craft stash to encourage me to iron more ... he laughed ... then confessed last night when I text him to tell him I had done it all that he has ordered me a new martha stewart punch!! ... hoping it will be here tomorrow as he ordered it last night! how excited am I!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Im going to have a look what challenges are about later today, i really need some inspiration at the minute.I still have really bad earache that is now making my jaw ache ( boys say thats with talking too much :rotfl:) Think i need to make myself a drs appointment, its going on abit too long now.

Hello once again!
I've missed you all - there must be hundreds of your beatutiful creations that I missedbut for the moment at least my pregnancy is letting me have a bit of energy to get back into a little bit of crafting
:).
I'm eagerly awaiting the Cropadile Big Bite that I ordered from QVC a few days ago - anoter toy to play with!!
Can anyone give me some advice on colouring in stamped images please?
I've been using Whisper Stroke pens and experimenting with various papers/cards but the result always ends up looking 'fuzzy' - i think the paper disintegrates with the waterbased pens maybe?
I've heard of the Copic markers but they are incredibly expensive and couldn't justify buying more than a few.
Thanks for any advice."Finish each day And be done with it.

I hate rodents if i find any more they'll be joining you too. If you'd seen me holding the envelope by one tiny corner you'd have thought it was full of real ones. lol I once saw a real one outside my sisters i won't go there in the dark now . sad or what.
Can you buy stuff to clean stazon etc from stamps . I tend to use that kind of ink for stamping and it won't come off the stamps . Keep meaning to check and forgetting.:o old age i think .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Craftygranny, Stazon is one of those inks that seem to be permanent on my stamps, although a Stazon stamp cleaner seems to clean mine up ok, it does stain. I've tried gentle washing in wash-up liquid and then a rub over with an ordinary pencil eraser. This tip was given to me by a SU demonstrator so I guess it's ok to do. It seems to be worse for me on the red rubber stamps more than the clear ones. Hope this helps.
npsmama, good to see you again, I'm not sure if I have your address still but if you PM me I'll send some Stampin' UP card for you to try, it's nice. When is bubby due? What's the date? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Arrrggghhh help!! I am in panic mode! A good friend of mine has just called to tell me she is getting married, her H2B hasn't proposed to her yet but the venue and date etc is all booked!! (dont ask she is weird!) but she has called to ask if I can do her invites for her!! .... she asked how much I would charge but I have no idea what to charge?
How much do you charge for invites? I know some of you have made them before?
She likes this style
Which is simple but the website she found them on charges £2.65 per cardRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
