I see some of you are on the slow slippery path to gaining a mountain of sweet pea stamps - join the club! if you check out the sweetpea blog she tends to discount just released stamps aswell. I was strong on my stash diet for 3.5 weeks but I've just seen the new stamps.... btw you can e-mail your creations to an address on the website and have your work displayed on the official blog - like me :)
  • I joined that blog the other night and also sweetpea stampers, there is some beautiful work on there. I blame you entirely for my purchases, I was patiently waiting for the stamp I wanted to comeback into stock at Crafts & Me or Cullen Crafts and then you had to mention the word sale and sweetpea in one sentence!

I take it your diet is blown??

    Evening everyone,

We have had a really nice quiet productive day at home, i managed housework, baking , cutting the grass and made a card for a couple of challenges, oh and ended up buying the aquamarkers after i watched a demo by Kirsty Wiseman,

so Hugs to those that need them, congratulations to anyone that has won anything and well done girls for keeping stash free, unfortunately I am not on that diet yet lol

Sorry just seen your edit, those cards are gorgeous. I'm going to go and play with another one out of my pile in a little while (can't believe I've gone from owning none to owning 11 plus another 8 on the way:o). I'm also feeling very drawn to witchy owl and a few of the dragon stamps, but I'm not working this week so really can't justify buying anything else!

I went to craft shop with my friend on Wednesday and split soem packs of embellishments. I'm planning to spend some money at a friend's craft shop in Penrith this weekend as I only get to go there once a year. I'm also going to buy something on the first of teh month and hopfully that will be it (it's a monthly kit and I'm hoping that will be my only purchase per month). It's very hard for me to not buy stamps but then I realise how many stamps I haven't used and it gets easier. BTW I have way more sweetpea stamps than you so don't feel too guilty

    Evening all.

Just catching up whilst trying to persuade five 7 year old boys that they do want to go to sleep and don't want me to ring their parents to come and get them. Think 3 have crashed but 2 are still messing and fidgeting so daren't go to bed or they will be talking again. They are all on mattresses on the lounge floor as it is the only place big enough to get them all. DD has gone for a sleepover at her nanny's house but they are actually sleeping in the mobile home on the drive so she was very excited. I've finally had chance to update my blog but have also realised that I have put a couple of cards on that will not have been opened yet. Sooo if it is your birthday this weekend please don't look at my blog. Very annoyingly I have also realised that I forgot to take photos of the two thank you cards for DD's teachers. One of them I was really pleased with so I am very annoyed with myself.

Gemma - Thanks for the info re ATG gun I am very tempted, can I just ask can you use different width tape on it or is it only one width per gun?

PONR - Re the DST with red backing, I got some of that at what I think I thought was a good price from Dunelm Mill if you have one of those anywhere near you.

Right going to go on a mini blog hop before bed. I'm on a mom's night out tomorrow night, 70's & 80's disco with chicken in a basket, so really could do with bed this side of midnight tonight.

Tired mom You can use a narrower tape but you need to pop an adapter in the gun to use them .

pep pop . Thank you for the link those papers are fab i'll drop the hint to my oh first and see what happens.

Well i had my meeting and it's official i'm now a fundraiser and our first event is on wednesday at 10am they don't waste any time do they so i'll be decorating more notebooks and whatever. Within the first 5 minutes of walking in we had an order for 2 neutral nappy cakes and 2 30th birthday cards. Omg what have i done. lol . Wonder if i need more stamps oooh errr just said it out loud and can't possibly repeat what my oh said. I have had a sneaky peek at those sweetpeas and they would be amazing.

Does anyone know where i can get snail related digis? Snails are one of the child friendly images used by the fundraisers so it would be good to find a nice one . Shame i'm not talented i could make one and sell it to raise funds lol.

Also does anyone know anywhere that will make a stamp for you using a specific image we'd like to get one with the ear trust logo.

    Thank you in advance.
