Thank you so much WBR - this info is fab, as our friend who wants to organise something has suggested All Inclusive somewhere in Spain, but to be honest it will probably work out about £2000 for the four of us, which I think is a lot for a weeks holiday in spain. So will try to suggest Florida, as there would be 13 of us, and if we could get cheap flights and split the cost of a villa with pool, then it may work out cheaper. Thanks again.
ooh if you do decide to go then you will love florida, especially the kids! I went for the first time 2 years ago and I was like a big kid in Universal and Disney(take lots of money for craft stash too...some stuff is so much cheaper!)

No worries. I think Barry and Caron have a huge villa which has just been refurb'd , Virgin Atlantic will possibly be having their sale in Sept, so you might bag a bargain with flights. but shop around. The people on The Dibb are really helpful and friendly and have loads of advice for newbie DIY's. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get a good deal. x0 -
Hi everyone, read through so many pages can't remember who said what so sorry in advance if i don't quote you
For those on stash diets I don't think you can ever have TOO much, ... you just never know what you might need
a little bit of help please, my SIL is expecting her 3rd in 2 - 3 weeks, the older two are 6 and 4 and we think a bit of jealousy might kick in so I want to make them both something special, I have already made them, sweetie bouquets, lollipop holders and altered picture frames.... Any ideas???.... I just want to make them feel special too and not all for the baby
PS my spell check does not work on here with my laptop but it does on my PC, any ideas what I should be doing ..... bound to be something simple
how about a big brother/sister card each.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Just a reminder to check my blog to see if you won my give away - it's still not been claimed and if it's not claimed then I will need to redraw on Monday. I can't contact the winner as the rules state that they must claim their prize, so please make sure it's not you. x0

Evening ladies - hope you've all been sharing in the lovely weather we've had today. I've been on a special trip with DS2 and a friend - the last time they will have a chance to do something without big brothers and sisters as they start school in September - where have my babies gone? We went on the train to Weston and have had a lovely day at the beach, riding donkeys and trains!
To anyone thinking about an ATG - just do it. For some reason it makes me smile every time I use mine - it feels such a big piece of kit to be using on my cards. I can't remember who was having a problem with theirs - but do persevere it's so worth it in the end.
Gemm - congrats on your anniversary - glad you had a good day.
Can't be nothered to even think about sorting out my blog at the mo - think I'll leave it boring and bland for a while!
SOma - well done on your sale - and for keeping the stash diet girls on track. I'm not going to sign up - I know I'm weak!
PepPop thanks for the DIsney fairies link - good job I'm not on the diet!
Artydoll - love your Christmas card!
Ali - fab challenge - I'm definitely up for this one.
Flourgirl - loving the fluffy stuff. Don't think it will give me the creeps like flower soft does!
Rainmac - no way does replacing existing stash count. Love all the new cards by the way.
Mary - so sorry to hear about the tinnitus (sorry didn't mean to make a pun there!) I can't imagine how intrusive it must be.
Re car boot sales. I quite enjoy doing one every now and then but think you always need to know if you are prepared to take something home again. People really seem to want something for pretty much nothing and I've turned offers down before and ended up taking stuff home and it still sitting in the shed a year later!
I think it's Soma whose been ordering Sweet Pea from the US - if it is thank you! I've been after a specifc stamp for ages and it's always out of stock at Crafts and Me so I've a parcel coming in a couple of weeks!
Dominos for me tonight, my general diet has been so awful lately I feel that I may as well carry on in the same vein! Maybe I'll be good next week.....0 -
Glittermum - I ordered stamps from Sweetpea last week and they arrived within 5 days. One of the stamps I really wanted that is always out stock on the Crafts & Me site was also included in my grab bag, so I was really pleased. In fact so much so, I've ordered another batch.0

I've just looked at the Dibb and saw Monsters Inc. I'm not gonna cry - I hope you have an amazing time and if you think I could fit in your suitcase I'll start dieting now.
Crafty if your kids are old enough try to get them to help you sell stuff - girl I work with did this and made a fortune cos folk didn't want to haggle with a cute kid. I've got an HP Pavillion Laptop and it's fab but not sure how much they are these days if that's any help.0 -

If Virgin hadn't done away with their 2 cases per person allowance for economy passengers then I'd have smuggled you in one of my spares. As it stands I can get you out there, but you won't stand a chance of getting back as the spare cases will be full of stash:D but then again I suppose you could always declare yourself an illegal and they'd deport you:rotfl:0
