Craftgranny - Thank you so much for your email you are a star :A
WBR - I've made a pizza box for the first time and will try and blog it tomorrow is this ok?

Hello All - had a busy & stressful couple of days (mostly MIL) so have read but not had chance to reply - sorry once again if I miss anything. Still got to catch up on blogs.
Welcome back CT1972 - we've missed you!
Soulie - Welcome!
Wanna B - just thought I'd explain that I made my first easel card as part of my crafty ribbon 'thing' & thought it might fulfill your challenge on here. I'm not sure they will blog it as it wasn't very good and I felt I should explain why there is no entry from me. Sorry!
Flourgirl & bunbun - thanks for your thoughts for my pc. It hasn't gone 'off' again yet but I asked at my pc shop & I've got to take it in for them to check it over next week.
Rainmac - I found a rymans today and was tempted by the coated paper but couldn't decide which weight to get so as I'm not quite
ready for some I left it. Thanks for the recommend.
Skiergirl - Hope you have a good time in Birmingham.
I'm not sure I want to join the stash ban as such but I'm going to make a huge effort to use some of the stash I've already got! Call it a maintainance diet.0 -
WBR Does my milk carton in the teachers gifts count for your challenge that was a new technique i only bought the template to do them when i started making the gifts a few days ago? No prob if not i'll try and make something else. It's not new anymore though i've done 18 in the last two days lol.
Tired mom . You're welcome . Thought it looked familiar but it wasn't there when i looked . Must be more careful to download stuff to the right folders.
Oh well off to bed i think, i have to put the flowers and other finishing touches to the teacher gifts tomorrow ready for school on monday as some of the teachers finish then. Then i need a portfolio of goodies by friday morning . Oh to be an octopus.
Marg i like the sound of a maintainence diet. I definately need to use more of what i have before buying anymore. At least being a stash addict means i don't often run out of anything. lolCross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Morning - think some people need to look here:j0

Tiredmom, Marg & Craftygranny - I've added you to the list. It would appear that you've all tried a technique you've not used before. x0
-
Congratulations to the winners :j
Craftygranny - Octopus arms and 48 hours in a day really would be most helpful.
Tomsmom - Where about in Brum were you originally from. My grandparents lived in Sutton Coldfield and my nan in Erdington, I grew up in Solihull until my early 20's.
DS and OH have gone to Pageant of Power today at Cholmendley Castle and I've got to try and put his room back together after it being decorated and a bed made. Daughter has a birthday disco to go to this afternoon but her friends birthday was last month so that card has already been done and given. Couldn't bear the thought of giving a bought one yesterday so ended up having to do one in a hurry.
Enjoy your Sunday ladies and Rainmac hope the school fair goes ok and the rain holds off.

Hi artydoll
There's no rules at all re the birthday list - it's just there if you fancy using it. I'd send a card to everyone if I had the time but often life gets in the way.
Quickie from me whilst I tidy the house before going out to the shops - does anyone know anywhere on the high street that sells those jumbo paperclips that a lot of you have used for craft fairs?0 -

Do you mean the metal ones that are 75mm. If so I got a big box of 100 from Staples for about £3.50 I think. How many do you need?
