I don't know TBH cos I'm ususally going to work the next day, so I peel them off after the event! They are very securely fixed though, never feel like I'm going to lose them, so I bet they'd be OK for a few days??? Not sure really.0 -
Girls...I've got it.
My house.
Our offer was accepted at last, and the vendors want to exchange ASAP, they aren't taking it off the market, so now DH is running around like a headless chicken sorting out conveyancing stuff.0 -

Woohoo! :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
CONGRATS LOST!
seriously fantastic news, you've made my day0 -
Ah that's brilliant Lost. Why aren't they taking it off the market though, I'd not be happy about that. I know buyers are nervous about time wasters but perhaps you can negotiate that it is removed from the market after the survey, as that shows your commitment to buying.0

:j Woohoo, what fantastic news
Is this the one with the bit of land for the ponies? And, because I am so nosy, can we see some pics?0 -
Well done, Lost!
Goan, you really suit your hair in plaits.
Red, did you say you've bought glasses on t'internet before? How do you go on for getting the fit right? I must have one ear higher than the other because mine are always wonky when I first get them and they have to be adjusted.0 -

The sites give you measurements of the width, depth, length of arms and nose bridge bit, I just went for some that were close to my previous pair in measurements. Some do let you 'hire' frames for a small fee to try out before you order properly but I haven't tried that.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Congratulations on the house Lost! Hope everything goes well from now on too.
Exam went well, i'm so tired now though. I allowed myself some money for shopping and I couldn't find anything I liked.. In a three floor Primark I didn't buy anything! I think it was all a bit too much and overwhelming. Did see some nice shoe boots in Faith which were £90 to £45 but I didn't get them, slightly regretting it now.
I did however have Glamour magazine and a panini and people watched which was nice.
Also never tried false eyelashes either, I have some that I got for Christmas but i'm just a bit wary of them falling off.0 -
tsabo, maybe keep an eye on the faith boots, i spoke to one of the girls who works in our local store on Sat and she said that the prices'll go down a lot more before they close....0
