You need to ration your West Wing episodes and get out for a while inbetween!!
I got up to a clear but dull day and then 10 minutes later, its hailing!! I didn't even get a chance to bring all the towels in off the line
Outfit:
Grey wide legged trousers - New Look
3/4 sleeve top with very small flower pattern - New Look
Black wedges - Monsoon
I hope everyone is feeling a little better (even though its miserable Monday!)“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Sunny but cold here today,
have been awake and pottering since 3am after falling asleep at midnight.
I'm in grave danger of starting to feel sorry for myself so have constructed a long but simple to do list to stop that from happening0 -
Nobody do anything to scare the sun away, ok?
We woke up with perfect timing to see the sun rise, with no need to do anything early we had an hour to jkill before having to leave for the station, so DH, I and the cats sat, all leaning in to one another snuggliing and watched the sun rise from bed before drifting off for a little bit. what a lovely way to wake up.
My dad's having an operation today, so I'm very slightly on tenderhooks, though I think he'll be fine. More sitting by the phone for me today and getting some quotes for stuff just in case.
Clothes? A mess: grey tracksuit trousers, white T and top. Too cold and too stressed to look further into wardrobe.0 -
Mildly obsessive West Wing watching
Very obsessive, if you stayed in bed for 2 days! You need to get out and about hun, it's not good to be inside for so long xoxoxolostinrates wrote: »Nobody do anything to scare the sun away, ok?

Sometimes I just need a couple of days to myself girls. Don't worry, I'm not taking up permanent residence in bed or anything.
Lost, hope things go well with your dad.0 -
morning all..
alex, i hope you're feeling a little better this morning..?
and lost, i hope all goes ok with your dad...
i've made a to do list as well daisy, and done a few things already, which is making me feel a little more productive at least..although it's still loooong!
ugh. still tired..i did go to bed when you told me to (with a couple of sleeping tabs) lol, and managed a few hours, until i woke up with a nightmare about 4am and couldn't get back to sleepoh well..
oh yeah, and my outfit for the day..
grey primark slouchy pinafore dress - i almost jumped for joy when i saw this in a size 12 in one of the charity shops on sat, i've wanted one for ages and looked in primark but not fouind one in my size....so that to me was a bargain £3 well spent!
which i've worn with a hugely oversized pink/blue/purple floral shirt (h&m)
nude tights, and a pair of flat silver pumps as my feet are sore from walking in wellies all weekend, and the pinafore is too short for heels imo..
various random beaded bracelets, and a long gold chain with a wooden mouse pendant...0 -
Some sleep is better than no sleep though? I had a weird dream about Nick Knowles :rotfl:
I'm better in myself thanks hun, but I've just had some bad news about a friend and am fretting about her
And to take my mind off things, a frivolous question - is it too weird to want to wear knee high socks at my age?0 -
Outfit:
Blue ruffle t-shirt dress: H&M garden collection
Teal tights: Ethel Austin
Grey suede peep toe booties: New Look
will add layers later.0 -
no i don't think so alex..
i've got a pair of grey ones with lace and a bow at the tops, which i've only worn once..and thinking abvout it they would have gone nicely with today's outfit..but i find they don't stay up very welli think my legs are just weird as hold ups don't stay up either, or tights :S
ETA - i hope your friend is ok..0
