Have fun PF
I had my outfit planned but might look a bit silly in maxi dress in the rain - boo hoo
I've got nothing planned for today - might have a sort out in the loft - very exciting I know0 -
Just been having another look on the DP website and there are some really nice dresses on there. I've got a wedding to go to soon and I rather like this but I think I'd wear it with a different belt, maybe low slung, or without one altogether. Might go and have a look tomorrow.
That dress is lovely. Depending on the date of the wedding, it might be worth also taking a look at the new Pearl Lowe Peacocks dresses that come out on 13th May.
There's one with a rose print that looks lovely. And also a blue one with lace trim that I love.
Have put some pics on my blog, although they're not all that clear.
Have a fab Sunday everyone - cloudy and overcast here. Got some taking back to do - the disastrous Thus night Topshop top and also a dodgy H&M biker jacket that's not leather - a bit naff.

I just had a major bee in my bonnet about my room being cluttered so have filled a black bag with more of my pointless hoarding
I feel better, but guilty about the waste (mainly out of date food, years old notebooks full of angst, free cds etc etc)
But still, done now.
And I seem to have combatted my impulse food purchases lately!
Wearing:
Denim shorts- new look
Yellow tee with bananas on it that says "go bananas" lol- new look via friend
(not me at all but cute so decided to keep it)
Grey tights- boots
Not sure what shoes yet.0 -
Woop woop it's starting to get warmer!0

Oh my, it's quiet on here today.
I haven't been around for a couple of days but it hasn't taken long to catch up. I've just come in because it's starting to rain after being lovely and warm.
I'm like you Silaqui with not wanting to show my feet. I don't even like peep toes because my feet are wide but also my toes are very short and stumpy and they jusy don't 'peep'. I hate my feet!
Vicki, I really like your playsuit and the maxi dresses you were trying on the other day.0 -
It's been a very quiet weekend hasn't it?
Not much to update on, i'm in jogging bottoms again as my legs ache loads after work last night.
Still haven't found wardrobe storage, sent my dad looking for one in York today. I may have to just buy online.
I finally dyed my hair today too. My roots are sorted but it's so much darker than I thought it would be. It was supposed to be very red like last time but it's come out aubergine.0 -
So tired!! Just setting off on our way home now..all the girls had a good day so that's good0

Hi,
Hope everyone's well today.
PF - hope it was a good day out and can;t wait to see your gold outfit!
I'm planning on getting a sewing machine. I have too many hand sewing/using Mum's machine type projects waiting and now I've cleared out some space in the sideboard I think I should fill it again lol!
I'm looking at spending around £50-£60 so I'm not going to get an all singing all dancing one, I just want it to sew quite thin fabrics for pretty light use.
I've been looking at http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4602284/Trail/searchtext%3ESEWING+MACHINE.htm which has good reviews.
And
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Janome-2039-sewing-machine-only-used-twice_W0QQitemZ320519963100QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CraftsCollect_SewingMachines_RL?hash=item4aa07a81dc
I know we have quite a lot of sewing experts on here so wondered if anyone had an opinion on the ones above or any other suggestions?
TIA xx0
