Hi,
Vicki - that first dress is gorgeous on you and the butterfly waistcoat is lovely - sorely tempted to buy that!
Daisy - sending hugs your way.
Alex - is Charles Kennedy a step too far??!
Friend took a pic of me today which I'm trying to pluck up the courage to post on my blog. It feels like a huge step. I'm not very confident about that sort of thing and it's a bit scary putting myself out there. Aaaargh. Must be brave.

Well I've not been feeling much like eating the past day or so, stomach pains seem to be dying down a little and have made myself some poppyseed/sesame seed crackers with cream cheese and tomatoes sliced on them, really wanted tomato for sone reason..
Have had a bit of a sit out in the garden earlier with a book, and since then busy pottering around, have made a to do list, and finally seem to have been able to take the usual pressure off. It's actually nice to have a relaxing eve with nothing to HAVE to do.0 -
Glad you managed some food Char,
I still want b-nut squash but settled for salad.
Blood tests for me in the morning
mum's driving me, so can have a potter around the bottom of town, pick up stupid letter from post office (still cant believe £1.10!) and go to greengrocers and hopefully procur a butternut squash!
Going to have a long afternoon stuck at home, but at least I can nap...0 -
I hate that daisy, £1 of the cost is the handling charge, the postage was prob only 10p short ;( I usually find it's junk mail anyway so then get even more annoyed!
May have a move round of the furniture..or perhaps leave that til tomorro and change into my pj's and do some sewing, I really need to take all my guides badges off my camp blanket so that i can wash it, which then means sewing them back on again afterwards!0 -
Oh I remember removing brownie badges

I think I'm heading to bed for some reading if nothing else

Not doing furniture, I'm going to leave it til tomorrow I think.
Am now in pj's and going to have a go at a necklace like that topshop one with the beads on material. Then start unpicking badges I think.0 -

I have the dotty ones but they are pink with white spots - they are very comfy and have lasted well so far - they even made it round Alton Towers for the day the other week!
I really like that Oasis dress Vicki, the silky one. Just the right amount of fabulousness without looking like you are trying too hard! If I spot a code I'll let you know!
Todays outfit was similar to the monochrome look I posted a while back, I was on an interviewing panel so thought it would be suitable -
Black top with lacy chest trim and sleeves, £5 Primark, ages ago.
Black an white striped cardigan, £7 New Look sale
Black skirt with white trim £6 Tesco sale.
Black ribbed tights £1.50 Primark.
Have a good evening all xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...

Always an oddball.
Apparently I did the same thing but with champagne and then ran round singing "I've got champagne up my bum" :rotfl:we_shop_therefore_we_are wrote: »Alex - is Charles Kennedy a step too far??!

I do have a soft spot for Charlie boy
Go for it! Once the first one's on you'll start getting much braver. Just think, 4 months ago I would actively hide to avoid being in photos and now I'm sharing pics of myself with all and sundry

I chose not to go swimming tonight, which I do feel a bit guilty about, but it's been bliss to just potter about the house, cook myself something delicious for dinner, watch a bit of tv (I fixed it, hurrah!) and tidy my room up (I do find this a weirdly soothing thing to do).
Daisy - isn't the postage thing a giant pain in the bum? We get loads of them at work, especially at seasonal staff recruitment time, and I get really hardline and just refuse to pay it. If people can't be bothered to put the correct postage on their application form, they're not the sort of people I want to give jobs to!0 -
