I've really been struggling physically lately, it's been a rapid-ish decline over the past couple of weeks (perhaps because I'm no longer unsure what is happening treatment wise some mental survival instinct has stopped?!) and I'm finding it hard to accept needing to place limits on what I can do and how much I can go out.
And when I do get out I always bump in to someone/several people who make a comment on how I look which makes me feel worse.
Blah.
Sorry to have been so utterly miserable lately. I promise to try and be less woeful
I think it might help to think of the changes you feel as preparing you for where you ''need to be'' to get better now, rather than to stay where you are to stay the same.0 -
Oh DB - I wish I could come and give you a real hug but this will have to do for now (hugs).
Mariel, is that the lady who made you other skirt with the tiny bits of fabric? Look forward to seeing the new one if it is.
Lost, Not sure about Dylan, he has got a smart grey waistcoat that he wore to his birthday party which probably still fits. So trousers, shirt and waistcoat maybe.
DH had a new navy suit a month or so ago which he only wears for head office meetings so is paractically unworn. He'll wear that almost certainly.
Oh just had a thought, I might not need a dress after all, what if I'm going to be asked to be bridesmaid?:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Lost- correct, as ever!
Vicki- thanks hun...are you likely to be asked to be bridesmaid? I will be so jealous as I have never been one, or indeed, ever been to a wedding!0 -

I actually find weddings pretty boring unless you really love the people getting married. I love the buffet though!0

Ohh I tell a lie, I went to a wedding aged two, apparently, and drank the dregs of everyone's red wine and stole raw onion off people's plates.
Always an oddball.0 -

Me too.
The best wedding I ever went to was close friends and one of the dad's ad been amazingly ver generous with champagne, the problem was that every body started trumping abut 30 mins into the wedding reception.....its not a problem I've had either before or after0 -
Vicki yes, that's the very same lady.
