Silaqui, yea for the skirt.
Linen? Go wth the creasing, its the only way....I tend to wear mine with tshirts or tunics, so very relaxed, going with the weekend wear. Lined things, or more expensive linen does keep smarter, without doubt.0 -
Nici I lurve that skirt on your blog (damn thing wont let me comment gah!) its lovely!
I love linen too but I find rather than the creasing that annoys me I get baggy knees on long linen trousers which make me feel scruffy...dunno if its cos they are cheap linen...should I invest in some good quality this year (as my ones from last year are miles too big!)**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
Lost, are your white linen trousers see through? I've never thought of them before because all the white trousers I see people wearing I can see the pockets and underwear through. Course I don't know if they're linen or not.0

Also ironed a pile of summery dresses, in the hope that my clothes enthusiasm comes back sometime soon...
You iron pj's?
Stop making me feel like a slob!0 -
i buy cheapy see through linen trousers, but wear then with long tunics: no one sees my pants! I find they only last me a season though. I don't fit into my expensive trousers at all these days, and they are a heavier, non see through type, with better cut too. so, until I fit into old clothes, or the new clothes I wan to buy its cheapies for me.daydreambeliever wrote: »Lost, are your white linen trousers see through? I give it a shake and stick it on a hanger.
The only stuff I iron properly is my Mum's stuff because she pays me to do it for her

I used to get paid to do it till Mum realised I wasn't doing the socks

Oh i iron most things. Draw the line at underwear tho!
And it's mainly because i get paid to do most of it, and then just do my own stiff whilst i'm in ironing mode anyway, I love ironing lol0 -
I like ironing too! I'm pretty much under house arrest at the moment, being told where I can walk to/what I can do each day so might offer to tackle the pile that is building up just for something to kill time!0
