Thank you ladies.
I think I personally prefer silvery stuff because my jewellery is normally silver coloured due to wedding ring etc, but I did think gold might be better for this dress. I never liked maxi dresses and thought they would be too long for me, but it's actually just a nice length so I am pleasantly surprised! Fingers crossed the weather stays nice so I don't look too summery!
Thanks for the idea of a long necklace. I will see how it looks, but not sure as it kind of gathers at the front and waterfalls down so necklace might not sit right. Will try anyway.
Cheers,

Fitzio, a short, vintage style necklace...a kind of tarnished rather than bright silver colour would work nicely with that dress too I think

I have the nitty gritty comb, bought it last time they had them in October - never had them before and then twice in 6 months- just my luck, went through DS2's hair 3 live and oh sooooo many eggs - yuk, luckily after years of working with children I'm quite immune to them so just crack them with my nails if they're still wriggling - ha ha0

Ah well Daisys idea might be better - plus Daisy always seems to have some lovely jewellery on her blog so she's your girl:D0 -
Evening,
Fitzio - lovely dress, flat sandals would look lovely with it.
Had the laziest day ever. In bed til after noon then an afternoon on the sofa. Got a boxset from a friend to watch tonight, although Britain's Got Talent's back on so might get sucked into that!
Blog updated with housey things instead of clothes for a change.

Fitzio, its beautiful. Gold or silver would be great, but I think a very clean canary yellow could work if you are brave, or even royal purple of fusia. I would probably buy gold, because I know I'd wear that again over and over.

Grrr, wore jeggings and tunic most of the day, and have ended up ''breaking'' myself again, just like last weekend. he thing both days have in common is I got on my horse both days. I haven' ridden for ages, and last weekend was only up for about ten minutes and stayed in walk, so I suppose I didn't think it could have done much. But I guess it can.

Its ok, I'm feeling better tonight. I was very sensible, stopping stuff for the afternoon, then once everything was steadier I went for a walk on two sticks, DH and I kept giggle, because its been so long since I needed sticks, and then this evening I'm just a bit stiff, not crippled. Maybe its just not having used these muscles in this way for so long.daisybella wrote: »I'm sorry Lost lovely *gentle fixing hugs*
we'll see. I think it might be the width of the horse, but because I'm so heavy I can't sit on the narrower horse to see. It might dictate the future though, need to loose weight so I can have a weedy, skinny little pony!

Hi everyone,
Have been out to the football today (we won, wooo!)
Wearing:
Navy slouchy jumper, £10 New Look - quite pleased because I bought this on a whim and when I got it home it didn't quite fit right - I seem to have lost a bit of weight as it looked ok today.
Black bootcut jeans, £8 Tesco.
Pink polka dot pumps, £4 NL sale.
So nice not to need a coat or jacket!
Hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...
